Microsoft is planning to bring Xbox Game Pass Cloud Gaming to iOS with a new strategy, according to a report from Business Insider.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer reportedly told employees that the company was working on a "direct browser-based solution" to bring Game Pass to Xbox players on Apple devices, in response to Apple blocking the service (alongside fellow competitor Google Stadia) citing violations of the App Store policy. Spencer made the announcement at a recent all-hands meeting, saying "we absolutely will end up on iOS".

Interestingly, this news comes not long after Amazon announced their own game streaming service, Amazon Luna. This will also be using a browser-based workaround to come to iOS devices, something Amazon say they worked closely with Apple to implement.

Spencer also recently revealed that Microsoft want to bring Xbox Game Pass Clouding Gaming to console and PC in the future.
