Crystal Dynamics has rolled out yet another patch for Marvel's Avengers, introducing another selection of fixes for the game, including the ability to obtain Villain Sectors once more, fixes to Mission Chains completion, the Weekly Challenge refresh, and more besides. You'll even get some free Polychoron and Uru with this patch.

The new patch also enables Captain America to smash through breakable doors, aligning him with Hulk, Thor, and Ms. Marvel, who are also able to bash down doors. Black Widow and Iron Man use their hacking ability to access breakable doors, which previously made Cap the only character unable to bust into certain depots.

Various crash and stability fixes have also been implemented with the release of Patch v1.3.1 for Marvel's Avengers, alongside tuning tweaks for Iron Man's sprint flight, Thor's light aerial hammer attacks, and Cap's sprinting block. You can take a look at the full v1.3.1 changelog here.

New Priority Missions and HARM Challenges are also live now in Marvel's Avengers on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. You can get the lowdown on those here.

  • Iron Man's Hulkbuster ultimate can bust through breakable doors as well
  • No game should ever need a patch list of 1000 fixed. Absolutely disgusting. Microsoft should crack down on games releasing like this on their consoles
  • Iron Man needs to hack a door? He’s got repulsors. They can destroy structures but can’t break down a locked door? Ugh.
  • @2 I feel they should also put pressure on devs that simply refuse to update their games on Xbox. 7 days comes to mind, the console version is virtually unplayable while PC version is almost unrecognisable.
