Electronic Arts has announced that it'll be holding its usual EA Play event during what would have been E3 time, this June. With the ESA cancelling both its actual and digital E3 events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, EA Play will be going ahead as 'EA Play Live', a digital event that will showcase the company's upcoming titles.

Among the games expected to be shown during EA Play Live 2020 will be the usual crop of licensed EA Sports titles, such as FIFA 21, NHL 21, and Madden NFL 21, as well as potential looks at EA Motive's Star Wars title, a rumoured new sports title, and perhaps even DICE's next Battlefield game, due in 2021.

While the EA Sports games are certain to appear, the rest is speculative, but you'd hope that with EA forging ahead with its Play event, there'll be some fairly significant announcements on the cards. EA Play Live is due to commence on 11th June 2020, and will be streaming over on EA.com and other platforms.
