It looks like seminal 1997 PlayStation One RPG Final Fantasy VII will finally be arriving on Xbox One next month, with a few extra features not present in the original release. Introducing the world to Cloud Strife, an elite Shinra soldier turned mercenary, and his giant Buster sword, FF VII is considered by many to be the best in the series.
And while everyone has their own favourite Final Fantasy game, FF VII was the one where I got started with Square Enix's behemoth RPG series. This version of Final Fantasy VII is a port of the original PSone classic, with extra features including a 3x speed mode, ability to turn battle encounters off, and a 'battle enhancement mode'.
Final Fantasy VII will be available for Xbox One on 26th March 2019, priced $15.99/£12.79 (you can pre-order it via the Xbox Store here), while Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster launches on 16th April and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age hits Xbox One from 30th April. It's a smorgasbord of Final Fantasy!
