Introduction
Viking: Battle for Asgard has 50 offline achievements for a total of 1000 . Difficulty achievements are stackable in this game, so I would suggest that you playthrough on Hard difficulty. Hard is not particularly difficult and feels much the same as it would when playing through on Normal. It should take you between 8-12 hours to complete.

WARNING: The following achievements are only obtainable once in the game, if you miss the chance and save your game, you will have to restart from the beginning to obtain it.
-Skullbagger 1
-Skullbagger 2

Playthrough
Most of the achievements you gain will come naturally as you progress through the game, although there are some tougher ones. Blinded to Fear is easiest done from the start of the game, simply take your time and don't get surrounded. You can move away from enemies and recover your health if needed, just don't use a potion. The Perfect Killer can be done on your first Champion. Make sure to kill any other enemies around it before taking it on and spam axes on it, which will do most of the work for you. Also be sure to collect as much gold as possible on each island and visit the arena to buy all the moves there, this will both make the game easier and give you several achievements.

The most important thing to remember as you play is to get the skulls for Skullbagger 1 and Skullbagger 2 on the first opportunity you get. If you fight the battle for that town and you have not already got the skulls, you will be unable to return to get them. The exception to this is Thornvik on the 3rd island, where you can reload your save after the battle and the skulls will have respawned.

Hel
The final battle can cause many headaches and this is the stratergy I used to complete it on the first try without any problems. Attack the enemies until you get four rage orbs, then hold to block, then Spam + to knock them into the fire which kills them for you. On the posts themselves, use + twice to quickly destroy them and then repeat the blocking process until the fire drops, so you can access the next post. Repeat this on all four posts until you get to Hel. On Hel herself, throw several axes at her then go through the long button sequence to finish her off.

There are 50 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Reach the end of the game on normal difficulty

    See "Viking Conqueror Hard"

  • Reach the end of the game on hard difficulty

The difficulty achievements stack, so you can start the game on your first play through on Hard. The game is easy even on Hard. There are a total of three islands that you must liberate. Once you defeat the last boss and finish the game this achievement and the achievement for Normal difficulty will unlock.
  • Liberate the farm and the quarry in Niflberg

Just kill all the Legion in the farm and quarry and talk to the leaders of each. After the farm he will ask you to go take care of the lost cargo. After the quarry he will ask you to ambush the Legion. Go onto your map and press on the ambush. Take out the Legion and get this achievement.
  • Find and charge the dragon gem Hugin and dragon amulet, and summon a dragon

Just grab the gem and then sneak into the Legion camp and power up the gem. Hope the fence on the right side of the city and sneak around the elevated walkways to your left. There aren't many Legion on the way and the ones that are there can be taken out with a sneak kill, provided you've purchased that ability. You're headed to the glowing portal in the southwest corner of the city. Stand in the middle of it and press repeatedly to charge the amulet. Once its charged, climb the boxes against the wall near the portal and leap out of the city.

Now take it back to the ruins and power it up at the platform near the sea. Its near the Leystone and looks like a low, circular platform surrounded by rough stone pillars. Once the dragon has been summoned, you'll be instructed to pick a target for the dragon to destroy. Press to access Aesir vision and you'll see potential targets highlighted by red circles. Target the boats and press to have the dragon destroy the boats on the left. Once the boats are destroyed, the achievement should unlock.
  • Collect the 6 skulls in Darkwater

This skull list is made by Ageha:

    1. Enter Darkwater by jumping over the fence on the right side.
Turn left and you find the first skull.

    2. Now run back where you jumped in and run right.
Jump down a few steps. On the right side is a Legion. Stealth kill him.
Then cross the street. Wait until the guards have their backs to you. Follow the way left up and you find the second skull guarded by some Legions. Just make a suicide run.

    3. Cross the street again but run right now. Stealth kill two Legion and run around the hut.
You see the third skull by the well.

    4. Now turn around and jump over the red fence. There is a Legion group patrolling so time your jump.
The skull is hidden behind the crates to your right.

    5. Follow the way and turn right as you see on the pictures.
Kill the Legion and get the skull on the right side hidden behind crates.

    6. From number 5 go up the elevated walkway and follow it until you are almost at the red portal. Ignore the archers as your run until you see the crate which leads to the portal. The skull is lying by some barrels. Also here are many Legions guarding the skull. You might want to jump up to the red portal to power up the amulet first and then make a suicide run for the skull.
  • Liberate Niflberg completely on the normal difficulty level

    See "Savior of Niflberg Hard"

  • Liberate Niflberg completely on the hard difficulty level

To get this achievement you must save every camp, save the farm, save the quarry. Once everything on your map is blue and not red, go to the final battle by pressing when you have Darkhelm highlighted on the map.

The battle has several objectives. There are three Shamans and one group of archers that you have to eliminate. As soon as you enter the city, you'll see a Champion right in front of you. Kill him in whatever manner you choose. Doing so will grant you two dragon runes. With those runes, go to Eye of Asgard view  by pressing and use the dragon to take out one of the Shamans. Continue into the city to find another Champion and repeat the process to eliminate another Shaman. Move around to the back of the city and take out the archers. This leaves only one Shaman, so attack him by eliminating the glowing pillars that surround him. Once all five are destroyed, the Shaman will be vulnerable and you'll be able to take him out.

Once the last Shaman is dead, Hel's Champion Drakan will appear. If you have some axes, you can damage him from a distance before closing in and finishing him off. The battle is basically the same as a normal Champion battle. After this boss battle this achievement unlocks.
  • Liberate the farm, still, lumber mill, and the quarry in Galcliff

This is story related and must be done to move on. Do the usual: clear out the Legion, then talk to the leader. After each below the leader asks you to do the following:

    Mill: Retrieve the grinding stones
Quarry: Free the workers in the cave
    Farm: Ask for archer support.

  • Complete the second dragon gem, and summon a dragon

    6. Now go back where you found skull 4 and continue the way up.
You can cross the bridge here to avoid fighting Legions.
Do a few jumps to come across the bridge.
First hang down by pressing B. Then look in the direction you want to jump and press Y.
Follow the way on the others side and you can see the last skull.

    Part 2: Caldberg

    1. When you enter the fort on the right side by climbing up you can already see a skull in the background.

    2. Now go back up where you climbed in and run left. Run along the left wall to avoid to be seen from the Legions down on the right. On the far end climb down the net and get the skull by the hut.

    3. Now back up the net and down the wooden construction. After the first ladder turn left, down again and to the passageway. Now down a net to the walkway. Turn right and the skull is behind a crate.

    4. Follow the walkway until you reach the dead end. Climb up the net, turn right and you see the next skull.

    5. Run back from where you climbed up and run straight and a bit right to find a Leystone. From there run up the stairs, a bit right and into an alley. The skull is at the dead end.
