Introduction:

The achievements in UFC Undisputed 3 are slightly easier than in the 2009 and 2010 version of the game, apart from two achievements (Online Journeyman and A Quarter Down, Three to Go) which requires you to play 500 fights online and complete 25% of each game mode.

For achievements that are difficulty related you might want the weakest opponent possible and use the strongest fighter. For that I recommend you to make a CAF to fight against, but don't fill in his stats.

A few achievements don't require you to fight against the COM to unlock the achievement, so you can use a second controller in this case.

1: Tutorial

The first thing you should do is do the tutorial and learn the buttons. Become familiar with the game and practice. Starting the tutorial will get you the Willingness achievement and playing 25% of tutorials will lead to A Quarter Down, Three to Go achievement.

2: Career Mode

I recommend starting out with the Career Mode next. When starting the career mode, you can select the difficulty from the start but it cannot be changed during the career, I recommend to select beginner as there are no career mode difficulty achievements . Selecting a low difficulty will make it easier to earn the Hall of famer, Dual Division Champion, Prolific Champion, Triple Threatening, Prepared to Win! & Training Expertise achievements.

First off in your career you want to win the WFA championship and then move to the UFC and win a UFC belt. While fighting in the WFA and UFC you want to play through all 14 training games and earn 4 stars in one of them to earn the Triple Threatening, Prepared to Win! achievements. After winning the UFC title you want to accept a PRIDE GP match, win the three PRIDE fights consecutively to win the PRIDE GP and this will now unlock the Prolific Champion achievement. Now you are back in the UFC you want to continue protecting your title until you are offered a chance to move into a new division, choose a division and win the title to unlock the Dual Division Champion achievement. You should have also unlocked the Hall of Famer achievement which is unlocked by having a very successful career. When you complete the career you will also earn the Storied Career achievement.

3: Other Game Modes

Play other game modes like Title Mode and Title Defence Mode and ss long as you keep winning you'll unlock thePRIDE of a champion, Determined Champion achievements. Play Ultimate Fights Mode to unlock History is Best Both Ways, and Event Mode to unlock Prime Time Fighting.

4. Easy Achievements

Try having a go at the easy achievements that don't take long to do and that you have not unlocked while playing though the game modes. Achievements like Breaking your Best Toys, Chopping 'em Down, GOOOAAL!!!, Face, Meet Foot, All About the Show, Artiste, Even Rocky Had a Montage, and Pound For Pound.

5. Online

After your first win you will unlock First of Many!Eventually, you'll get the Online Amateur achievement for 10 matches, and Online Journeyman for 500 matches. Next, create a camp and get friends to join. You'll get Extracurricular, Practice Makes Perfect, and Fight Camp Frenzy. Also try to unlock the Everyone's a Critic achievement.

6. Clean Up

Go for all the achievements you have not yet unlocked and try for the A Quarter Down, Three to Go achievement.

  • Create a CAF and modify the face with CREATE A FIGHTER.

From the main menu, select custom, then create a fighter, then new fighter, then select physical appearance, then head, after that select face type preset, then rotate  to change the fighters face, then press  to accept and the achievement should pop.

  • Win a match against the COM on Experienced Difficulty while using a CAF in Exhibition Mode.

To get this achievement you must enter exhibition mode, select UFC or PRIDE, then set the difficulty to Experienced, next select the weight class that your Created Fighter is in, then select the your CAF, choose an opponent that has a low overall rating, and then beat the COM with your CAF.

Tips: Choose to fight the guy with the lowest overall rating in that division. Also fight against somebody with a similar style to your fighter, so you can beat them at your owns strengths e.g. dont fight against a BJJ specialist if your fighter only has good striking skills.

  • Play 10 or more ranked Xbox LIVE matches.

From the main menu, select Xbox Live, then select exhibition, select ranked match, play 10 matches to earn this achievement.

  • Play 500 or more ranked Xbox LIVE matches.

From the main menu, select Xbox Live, then select exhibition, select ranked match, after 500 matches the achievement should unlock.

  • Select a guided tutorial

When you first enter the game you will be asked if you would like a tutorial, simply click yes and the achievement will pop, you dont even need to complete the tasks for the achievement, but i suggest you do, you will need to learn the basics if your new to UFC, also completing a certain amount of the tutorial will count towards the "A Quarter Down, Three to Go" achievement.

If you click NO, you can come back to it later by selecting tutorial at the main menu, then tutorial guide, then guided tutorial.

  • Join an Xbox LIVE Fight Camp.

From the main menu select Xbox Live, then fight camp and join or make one.

  • Enter the Hall of Fame with a fighter in Career Mode.

To enter the hall of fame with your fighter you will need to have had a very successful career. Title wins and title defences being the most important, winning awards such as fight of the night/year, submission of the night/year and knock-out of the night/year also will improve your chances of being inducted into the hall of fame.

Tips on how to win Fight of the Night: Fight of the Night awards are awarded to the most action packed fight on the card, if both fighters beat each other down constantly for 3/5 rounds will stand a good chance of winning the award. Rarely will a 1st round K.O be awarded Fight of Night because the fight was too short.

Tips on how to win Knock-out of the night: You are most likely to win a K.O of the night award by scoring a flash knock-out punch that comes out of nowhere. If you are clearly losing the fight but land that hard K.O punch out of nowhere, and against all odds win that fight, you will stand a good chance of winning Knock-out of the night.

Tips on how to win Submission of the Night: Submission of the night is one of the few awards that can be won by luck, e.g. being the only fight to end in submission that night will guarantee you winning that award. The best way to win submission of the night is to make your opponent tap in the final round of the fight while behind on the judges scorecard.

  • Complete Career Mode with a CAF or Roster Fighter.

You complete the career after around 45-50 fights, you are told when it is your last year of fighting after that point you can fight a few more times and then your career is over, you will earn your achievement after your last fight.

  • Get the TKO win by damaging the opponent's legs.

Hold  and press  or  to kick the opponents legs. After around 20 kicks your opponent will start to limp, this makes it a lot easier to land even more kicks to the leg, keep kicking the leg and eventually your opponent will collapse to the floor and you should recieve the TKO victory. If your having trouble you can always fight CAF with no stats.

Leg kicks do a lot more damage when thrown in with a combo, the easiest combo to land is a jab by pressing , then the right leg kick by holding  and pressing

This can be done with a second controller.

  • KO the opponent with a soccer kick.

This achievement can only be done in PRIDE MODE, kicks to a downed opponent are not allowed in the UFC. To enter pride mode select exhibition from the main menu and you will be given the choice of PRIDE or UFC. When your opponent is on their hands and knees, and you are standing up, hold  and press  or  to perform a soccer kick. The first kick should Knock them out if they are already damaged.

Or knock down or take-down your opponent and go north south, throw knees, when your opponent is dazed stand up by clicking  and hold  and press  or  to soccer kick.

This can be done with a second controller, simply fail several takedowns and fall just in front of your first controller and soccer kick every time this might take around five kicks to knock them out.

To earn this achievement you must have a fighter that has achieved Hall of Fame status, then from the main menu select exhibition, select UFC, make sure the difficulty is set to Expert, choose the weight class your Hall of Fame fighter is in then select your CAF as your opponent. This has do be done in one playthrough as Title Defense Mode doesn't save.
