Introduction
Welcome to Self Defense Training Camp. This game is not the most fun but it is fantastic for what it is for. The game is not meant to entertain you so much, it's intended to teach you how to defend yourself if ever necessary. The game teaches you what you would learn in a martial art class so it does provide good tips. This game is an easy 1000, more so if you are flexible and in good shape.
Self Defense Rehearsal
Start with this. From the main menu you will need to scroll to your right to find it. You will only have the first class, "Crossed Wrist Grab", unlocked at the beginning so start with that to unlock more. Complete all six scenarios in all five classes and you should be almost 1/4 the way done, sitting at a 240. This should only take you around an hour to complete.
Reflex Training
In Reflex Training there are five total classes with five minigames in each. These games are attached to probably the hardest achievements in the game. The Kinect sensor doesn't read too well on some of these but nothing major. You will probably need some practice on a few of these minigames though especially if you struggle with fast reflexes. After completing every class in Reflex Training, gaining five stars on each, you should be at 660.
Note: Blazing Reflexes is glitchy and may not unlock!
Balance Practice
In Balance Practice there are ten total lessons to take, each around 5 minutes long. This is very easy and relaxing. You may need to try a few times to get 5 stars on each one but most likely you will get your 5 stars on your first attempt. The Kinect sensor reads well if you do exactly what the guy on screen does including hand motions. After completing every class in Balance Practice, gaining five stars on each, you should be at 810.
Cardio Workout
Finally, select Cardio Workout. There are ten total lessons to take, each around 5 minutes. This is fast paced but not really that tiring. Complete and achieve five stars on each lesson to unlock the remaining achievements.
Conclusion
Overall the game is pretty easy to get all the gamerscore. The Reflex Training will probably be the only part that will cause you problems but you can do it with just a little bit of practice. You might be able to complete this game in under five hours if you have good reflexes and are flexible, but the rest of us will probably be finishing up in 5-10 hours. The Kinect sensor reads well for the most part except a few annoyances in Reflex Training. If you followed the guide and got lucky enough to get the glitchy achievement then you should have the 1000.
