Introduction
Welcome to Self Defense Training Camp. This game is not the most fun but it is fantastic for what it is for. The game is not meant to entertain you so much, it's intended to teach you how to defend yourself if ever necessary. The game teaches you what you would learn in a martial art class so it does provide good tips. This game is an easy 1000, more so if you are flexible and in good shape.

Self Defense Rehearsal
Start with this. From the main menu you will need to scroll to your right to find it. You will only have the first class, "Crossed Wrist Grab", unlocked at the beginning so start with that to unlock more. Complete all six scenarios in all five classes and you should be almost 1/4 the way done, sitting at a 240. This should only take you around an hour to complete.

Reflex Training
In Reflex Training there are five total classes with five minigames in each. These games are attached to probably the hardest achievements in the game. The Kinect sensor doesn't read too well on some of these but nothing major. You will probably need some practice on a few of these minigames though especially if you struggle with fast reflexes. After completing every class in Reflex Training, gaining five stars on each, you should be at 660.

Note: Blazing Reflexes is glitchy and may not unlock!

Balance Practice
In Balance Practice there are ten total lessons to take, each around 5 minutes long. This is very easy and relaxing. You may need to try a few times to get 5 stars on each one but most likely you will get your 5 stars on your first attempt. The Kinect sensor reads well if you do exactly what the guy on screen does including hand motions. After completing every class in Balance Practice, gaining five stars on each, you should be at 810.

Cardio Workout
Finally, select Cardio Workout. There are ten total lessons to take, each around 5 minutes. This is fast paced but not really that tiring. Complete and achieve five stars on each lesson to unlock the remaining achievements.

Conclusion
Overall the game is pretty easy to get all the gamerscore. The Reflex Training will probably be the only part that will cause you problems but you can do it with just a little bit of practice. You might be able to complete this game in under five hours if you have good reflexes and are flexible, but the rest of us will probably be finishing up in 5-10 hours. The Kinect sensor reads well for the most part except a few annoyances in Reflex Training. If you followed the guide and got lucky enough to get the glitchy achievement then you should have the 1000.   • Confirm your first self defense technique.

     

    From the main menu select "Self Defense Rehearsal" then "Class 1. Wrist Grab". The very first one is called "Crossed Wrist Grab", and that's the one you need. This will only take about 5 minutes and only has 4 different motions. Complete the segment a few times to get the hang of it, then again during the "real life" situation. Once you complete all of the techniques the achievement will unlock.

  • Confirm all techniques from the first self defense class.

     

    From the main menu select "Self Defense Rehearsal" then "Class 1. Wrist Grab". Simply complete all six scenarios in the class.

  • Confirm all techniques from the second self defense class.

     

    From the main menu select "Self Defense Rehearsal" then "Class 2. Arm and Shoulder Grab". Simply complete all six scenarios in the class. You will need to complete the first case to unlock this case if you have not unlocked it yet.

  • Confirm all techniques from the third self defense class.

     

    From the main menu select "Self Defense Rehearsal" then "Class 3. Attack From Behind". Simply complete all six scenarios in the class. You will need to complete the first and second cases to unlock this case if you have not unlocked it yet.

  • Confirm all techniques from the fourth self defense class.

     

    From the main menu select "Self Defense Rehearsal" then "Class 4. Choke Hold". Simply complete all six scenarios in the class. You will need to complete the first three cases to unlock this case if you have not unlocked it yet.

  • Confirm all techniques from the fifth self defense class.

     

    From the main menu select "Self Defense Rehearsal" then "Class 5. Frontal Attack". Simply complete all six scenarios in the class. You will need to complete the first four cases to unlock this case if you have not unlocked it yet.

  • Confirm your first dodging level.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Dodge". Complete the first minigame.

  • Confirm all the dodging levels.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Dodge". Play each version of the dodging minigame. This is extremely easy, and shouldn't cause any problems since you only need to complete the 5 games and your score doesn't matter.

  • Confirm your first punch blocks level.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Punch Block". Complete the first minigame. Make sure you watch how to play this minigame because it can be confusing at first until you get the hang of it.

  • Confirm all punch blocks levels.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Punch Block". Play each version of the dodging minigame and the achievement will unlock. Make sure you watch how to play this minigame because it can be confusing at first until you get the hang of it. This will unlock regardless of your score, just make sure you beat all five of them.

  • Confirm your first kick blocks level.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Kick Block". Complete the first minigame. Make sure you watch how to play this minigame because it can be confusing at first until you get the hang of it.

  • Confirm all kick blocks levels.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Kick Block". Play each version of the minigame and the achievement will unlock. Make sure you watch how to play this minigame because it can be confusing at first until you get the hang of it. This will unlock regardless of your score, just make sure you beat all five of them.

  • First time getting five stars for a self defense technique.

     

    From the main menu select the "Self Defense Rehearsal" then "Class 1. Wrist Grab". Select "Crossed Wrist Grab". Get an excellent score on all four motions and you will unlock this achievement. You may get this on a later lesson if you don't get it on the first one.

  • "Black belt" title for technique.

     

    After each scenario in a class you will get rated on your performance. You will increase in belts as you go. This is the next belt up from the Blue belt.

  • First time getting five stars in a dodging level.

     


    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Dodge". Complete the first minigame with a 5 star rating.

  • Five stars in all dodging levels.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Dodge". Complete all five versions of the dodging minigame with a 5 star rating. If your reaction times are decent this shouldn't prove too difficult. You can get hit a few times but try to avoid it as much as possible.

  • First time getting five stars in a kick blocks level.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Kick Block". Complete the first minigame with a 5 star rating.

  • Five stars in all kick blocks levels.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training" then "Kick Block". Complete all five versions of the minigame with a 5 star rating. If your reaction times are decent then this should not be hard. You can get hit a few times but try to avoid it as much as possible.

  • "Sharp reflexes" title for reflexes.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training". Complete each minigame in each class and it will score you at the bottom after each minigame. Make sure you get five stars on each minigame and this will unlock during the "Kick Block" minigames after completing the previous two sessions.

  • "Lightning reflexes" title for reflexes.

     

    From the main menu select "Reflex Training". Complete each minigame in each class and it will score you at the bottom after each minigame. Make sure you get five stars on each minigame and this will unlock during the "Punch" minigames after completing the previous three sessions.

  • "Competitor" title for cardio.

     

    From the main menu select "Cardio Training". This will unlock while playing through each lesson. There are multiple achievements like this so try to get five stars on each lesson to unlock them all.

  • "Instructor" title for cardio.

     

    From the main menu select "Cardio Training". This will unlock while playing through each lesson. There are multiple achievements like this so try to get five stars on each lesson to unlock them all.

  • "Marathoner" title for cardio.

  • "Wood" title for balance.

    Each activity will give you a score based on how well you do on each lesson. Complete 5 stars on everything for Balance training, Cardio Training, Self-Defense Rehearsal, and Reflex Training. This isn't as hard as it sounds; they are all easy except for Reflex Training, which is more frustrating than hard.
