Introduction:

Here we are again; yet another track pack. This time it features country music, so I hope you can stand it long enough to clean it up!

Solo achievements:

The first thing you will want to do is to plug in or connect your drum kit and play "Hillbilly Deluxe" by Brooks & Dunn on Expert and, at the very least, hit all of the kick drum notes (orange lines) and get at least a 200 note streak. Upon completion of the song, if you've done the two above criteria, you will unlock Doggone Drummer and Make the Earth Quake.

Take the drums off and plug in your microphone and play the song "Suds in the Bucket" by Sara Evans on Expert. All you have to do is pass the song on Expert, which may or may not be hard; it's a two-star song. Doing this unlocks Smooth Talkin' Son of a Gun.

Take off the mic, plug in a guitar, and play "Satellite Radio" by Steve Earle on Hard Bass, or Guitar if you're feeling frisky. Throughout the song, you'll need to pay attention for smaller gems on the highway. For these notes, you only need to press the corresponding button as it crosses the bottom to hit it. Make sure you hit them all, and at the end of the song you'll unlock Drop the Hammer.

Now pick your favorite instrument and start a Solo Tour. Finish the tour on any difficulty to unlock Chuggin' Along. If you earn at least 75 stars total during the tour, an average of just under 4 stars per song, you unlock Star Studs. Finally, if you complete the tour on Expert, you'll unlock Crazy Mothertrucker.

Band achievements:

Now comes the fun part. Grab three local friends (no online, again) and create a full band. If you can only find one friend, skip to the next paragraph. Play the song "Free & Easy (Down the Road I Go)" by Dierks Bentley and have everyone on instruments hit all of the notes and the singer sing all of the phrases "Awesome"-ly to unlock Free & Easy. During this time, take the time to activate Overdrive ten times between everyone in the band to unlock Can't Take It With You.

If you have at least one other friend left, move onto "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers and have everyone in the band hit at least 90% of the notes/phrases to unlock Every Hand's a Winner. Now take your band of 2-4 players and begin a Band Tour. Upon completion of the tour, you'll unlock You and Your Gang. If you can score a total of 10,000,000 points for a career total (in band career only), you'll unlock We're Better Together.

And that's another track pack down. See you for the next one.

There are 12 achievements with a total of 250 points

  • Full band clears "Free & Easy" with 100% notes hit on any difficulty

As per the achievement requirements, you'll need to find three local friends who can play in a full band. You can do this on any difficulty, so you should have everyone on Easy to make sure you can hit every note. If you have trouble with hitting 100% of the notes, you just have to practice.

Overstrums on guitars and overhits on drums do not negate the achievement. You also do not have to upstrum on bass.

  • Band members activate Overdrive a total of 10 times in a single song

To earn overdrive you must hit a white, glowing section of notes perfectly. Doing this twice will allow you to activate Overdrive. If you have a two player band, both players will need to do this an average of five times each which is possible with Unison Bonuses.

This achievement can be obtained with one person playing Medium Guitar and one person playing Easy Vocals on "Any Man of Mine". Or, if one person has a guitar and microphone, they can do it themselves. To get the achievement, simply play with at LEAST the above two instruments and activate overdrive as soon as the instrument is able.

  • Beat "Suds in the Bucket" on Expert Vocals

"Suds in the Bucket" is rated as a two-star song, which means it may be difficult for new singers. Thankfully, you don't have to have a gold star performance to unlock the achievement. As long as you manage to pass, you earn the achievement.

If you have trouble with the achievement, go into "Training" mode and practice singing until you can score at least 85% on it, and can also sing Overdrive phrases well enough to earn some throughout the song, because if you are having trouble, this will be your saving grace.
  • Hit 100% of the kick drum notes for any song on Expert

The song "Hillbilly Deluxe" by Brooks and Dunn is the easiest drum song on this track pack. It's a slow song for drums and there aren't any surprising parts, let alone double kicks or anything fancy to throw you off.

Having trouble? Nothing much more to recommend than to practice. If you have to, focus on hitting the kick notes and not so much on everything else. If you must, you can get a second person to use the kick pedal. Just remember, this isn't scoring 100% on the song, it's hitting all the kick notes.

  • Score 10 million total points across all songs in Band Tour

Scoring 10,000,000 points throughout 20 songs means you need to average 500,000 points per song. In a two-player band, this means you will probably need to play either very well on Medium. If you can, play earlier songs on higher difficulties to score more points.

Having trouble? Here are some easy-to-follow tips for band-play:
    - If the band is playing on the instruments (meaning, not singing), then they can score what are called Unison Bonuses. These are awards on some Overdrive sequences that a synchronized so that everyone in the band is trying to earn Overdrive at the same time. If everyone on the instruments can hit their phrases, they will earn another quarter of Overdrive in addition to their first, meaning, everyone can use Overdrive.

    - If you synchronize Overdrive use, you will earn a band multiplier. This multiplier is a global multiplier, multiplying the points scored by all players. Two players in Overdrive at the same time give a 2x band multiplier. Three players earn 4x, and having all four players in Overdrive earns an 8x multiplier. If you do the math, having an 8x band multiplier means that the Guitar, Drums, and Vocals have a 32x point multiplier and Bass has an astonishing 48x multiplier.

    - If you can play OK at a harder difficulty, drop down to a stage so you can keep a better combo and hit more Overdrive phrases. This will translate into more points in the long run.

  • Finish Band Tour mode on any difficulty

No fancy tricks here, just need at least one friend to make a band and complete the Band Career. Any and all players can be on any difficulty they please as long as all 20 songs are completed.

Having trouble? Practice, or drop a difficulty.

  • Complete Solo Tour on any difficulty with any instrument

Just like the Band Career achievement, nothing fancy here. This time, just pick your favorite instrument and complete a Solo Career on any difficulty.

Having trouble? Same as Band Career: Practice, or drop a difficulty.

  • Earn 75 stars across all songs in Solo or Band Tour

Stars are awarded based on how many points you scored in a song. These numbers vary from song to song but the formula is the same. This can be done at the time you go for Chuggin' Along or You and Your Gang as well, and should be easy enough to do.

For only 20 songs, you'll need an average of 4 stars per song. You can get away with 5 three-starred songs. If you five-star all songs, you get it as you enter the fourth tier of songs.

  • Hit all hammer-on notes in "Satellite Radio"

Thankfully, you don't have to do this on Guitar, even though the description really doesn't say you have to anyway. The easiest way for you to do this is on Hard Bass. On Hard Bass, the chart is slow and there are no more than two hammer-on/pull-off notes at a time.

If you are having trouble, there's not a whole lot to say than practice. If you think that you're playing perfectly, then check your equipment and calibration settings to see if they're off. Otherwise, practice. Also remember, you don't have to play well, just hit all hammer-on/pull-offs.

The guide would like to thank forum user Darth Trom for making this technique known.

  • Every band member scores over 90% of notes hit in "The Gambler"

This isn't exactly the hardest thing to do in the game. 90% on a song is actually very feasible if you play good enough to pass. Obviously, the best course of action is to try and hit all the notes. Just note that you need at least a two-player band to unlock this. If you're having any trouble, just drop a difficulty.

  • Complete Solo Tour on Expert with any instrument

This is the hardest achievement in the game, but it's not that bad. Country music is not exactly known for fast-paced music, though some songs are. I'd recommend doing this on guitar, as the only really hard song is "Sin Wagon" by The Dixie Chicks. However, if you are better at another instrument then by all means go with that.

If you are having trouble, I'd recommend practice. You don't need to do extraordinarily well on any songs, just pass them all on Expert.

  • Get a 200 note streak playing Drums

Notes on drums are counted differently than the other instruments. Each part of a note that you hit is counted as one single note towards you're note streak. For example, if you have a snare, cymbal, and kick note, and you hit them all, you have just hit three notes and not one.

With this, getting a measly 200 note streak is easy enough on any song, on any difficulty. If you're having trouble keeping a consistent streak, check your hardware and calibration settings.
