Introduction:
Welcome to the Pinball Hall of Fame Roadmap! This game contains 25 achievements, which are all attainable offline. The game consists of 12 historically accurate pinball machines manufactured by Williams dating between 1970 and 1997. The achievements of this game are very straightforward, and the difficulty of attaining the achievements will be dictated solely by the skill of the player. The game’s pinball physics is extremely realistic and there are no cheats in this game that can assist you in accomplishing the table goals. But with the use of the voiced-over walkthrough of each table, the player will be well informed enough to effectively tackle every goal required for achievements.

12 of the 13 pinball tables are available for immediate play. Jive Time™ is the only locked table and will be unlocked with the completion of the, Unlock Jive Time™ achievement. However there are no achievements for completing Jive Time's™ Basic and Wizard Goals so when the table is unlocked, it is just for fun.

Step 1: Earning Freeplay table modes
Medieval Madness™, Gorgar™, Pin*Bot™, Taxi™ and Funhouse™ are all tables that start in Freeplay mode so players can start with those tables to earn credits. Additional credits are earned by accomplishing any set goal in the current goal listing; whether it is the basic or wizard set. Earning the Freeplay privilege on the rest of the pinball tables can be done in two ways; Spending 100 credits earned through achieving goals, or by completing the five basic/wizard goal set of any table. When a goal set is achieved, the appropriate achievement will pop and the player will get an opportunity to choose which table to unlock Freeplay mode on.

Step 2: Earning Achievements
Every table has a Basic and Wizard set of goals. Basic Goals MUST be completed for the specific table being played before Wizard goals can be unlocked and accomplished. Any Wizard goals accomplished before the Basic set is completed will unfortunately not be counted. To effectively tackle all goals required, the game includes incredibly in depth instructions that even includes voice to explain the mechanics of the table and explanations to earn all objectives specific to the table. Also, completing the Wizard Goal set on any table unlocks custom ball/tilt/mirror options and using these options will not affect your ability to earn achievements.

Once you are familiar with all the tables in the game, then you should be prepared to take on the Williams Challenge, which requires you to earn a set point value on one credit before advancing to the next table. Completion of the Williams Challenge will unlock the Jive Time™ table as well as the 100 point achievement for doing so. A deeper explanation of the achievement is provided in the Achievement Guide.

Conclusion:
This game was created as a nostalgic throwback to a time before achievements and should be treated as such. The pinball physics are so realistic that it probably is the next best thing to actually buying the actual machine. If you are playing this for achievements, then you’ll find that it is no pushover and will require much practice and patience. But nostalgic gamers will get the true value of this game when they find themselves recognizing many of the pinball machines and finding this as a welcome trip down memory lane, 10-15 minutes at a time.

  • Beat the Williams Challenge to Unlock Jive Time™.

    Treat this like an "Endurance Mode." For the Williams Challenge, you have 1 credit (3 balls) to achieve the required point value to move on to the next table. If you fail to get the required score, you only get 3 continues for all 12 tables. Complete all tables to unlock the final table and earn the 100 point achievement.
