Introduction:
Welcome to PDC Worlds Championship Darts. This game has a total of 47 achievements and requires two playthroughs (seasons) to get 1000. The reason for the two playthroughs is that the Number 1 achievement and Grand Slam are only achievable in the 2nd season of the Career mode. Of the achievements, 14 are unlocked in the Career Mode, 3 are unlocked by winning games on Xbox Live, 16 are unlocked by beating certain characters on Pro Difficulty and the remaining 14 are achieved by playing in exhibition games.
There is currently one 'bug' with this game. Its a real pain the in butt as it requires you to play through Seasons 1 and 2 of career without:
-Turning off you Xbox
-Changing in-game settings
-Quitting out of career
-Saving mid-tournament
-Quitting out of any game.
Doing any off the above will cause Grand Slam to remain locked, forcing you to play through the entire 2 seasons again.
Step 1: Basic Achievements
I suggest that when you get the game, the first achievements you should do involve Exhibition mode. It will help you learn how to play the game, get used to the controls and also net you some of the easy achievements. The main tip here is to really practice your technique and see what suits your style.
Step 2: Beat The Pro's
This main objective now is to basically get all 16 Achievements for beating the Pro's. "Borandi" has a really good tip to help you beat the pro's and it helped me and many others. It makes the achievements easier and faster.
Here's the video:
It basically explains how and what to do to beat the pros.
Step 3: Online Achievements
Now I'd choose to go for the online achievements if you have a partner to play with as the online is extremely dead for this game. Basically find your partner and create a RANKED match and have one find the other and then simply take turns to win 50 times (making sure you win 10 in a row for the other achievement) and you should end up with all 3 online achievements, leaving 14 offline achievements to go!
Step 4: Career Playthroughs
Definitely the most annoying, time consuming achievements in this game by far. Basically the main goal here is to sit in front of your Xbox for the next 3 or 4 days playing nothing but career mode, without turning the Xbox off (or the other things stated at the beginning of the Road Map). In the first season you should aim to get 11 of the 14 achievements in Career Mode.
These are:
-World Championship
-UK Open
-US Open
-World Grand Prix
-German Champ
-World Matchplay
-Whitewash
-Perfect Match
-Lowroller
-Hitman
-Nobody Saw It!
These can all be achieved in the first season of career mode by winning EVERYTHING.
The remaining 3 achievements, Grand Slam, Desert Classic and Number 1, are all achieved in the second season of career mode. Desert Classic would be locked during the first season of the career as your rank won't be high enough. So basically win this tournament to unlock this. Number 1 can be unlocked at the very end of the second season. You should be Rank 1 just after completing the Las Vegas Desert Classic tournament.
After winning that tournament basically win EVERYTHING again without saving, quitting etc and you SHOULD get the Grand Slam achievement, although some people have said they didn't get the achievement. So just follow the guide without saving, quitting etc. and there shouldn't be a problem what so-ever.
Conclusion:
Wrapping this up, I just want to say that this game isn't that bad for achievements, it can just be a pain. After a vigorous 4 day playing fiesta, 1000 should sit nicely in your gamercard . Enjoyz!
