Introduction
If you have played an NCAA game before, then you will be familiar with most of the achievements this year. The game is pretty simple with only two or three challenging achievements and a few time consuming.

Step 1: Dynasty Mode
First start off by joining an online dynasty and make a comment to earn My Two Cents. Next start a offline dynasty and use the conference editor to get the following:

  • On Second Thought
  • My Conference is Super
  • One of the Boys

After earning one of these start the dynasty in which if you follow this guide, you will get the following:

  • Living Legend
  • Dual Threat Coach
  • Independence Day
  • Point Some Fingers
  • Best Class Ever
  • Dream Job
  • Hometown Hero

You will also get either the Legends of Legends or Head of the Pac. After finishing your first season, continue to the off-season and get Changing the Landscape. Now just continue the dynasty and keep the job security up until you contract expires and get Let's Do It Again.

Now start a new dynasty to get either the Cool Off The Hot Seat or the other conference championship achievement.

Step 2: Road To Glory
Start a new Road to Glory mode and play through the High School season to get the following:

  • Ironman Performance
  • Ultimate Ironman
  • Best In Class
  • High School Champs

Now play through the Road to Glory and you should get the following:

  • Campus Legends
  • Conference King
  • Best Of All Time
  • Battle Tested
  • Earn My Trust

Step 3: Clean Up
By now you should have most of the achievements, if not all. If you have not unlocked the full 1000, just play a few games in quickplay to get the remaining achievements.

Note: Like previous NCAA titles, you can edit the User/CPU skills, penalties, and use two controllers to get the achievements. If you are having trouble, set the User skills to 100 and the CPU skills to 0 and turn off the penalties.

Also for achievements that you have to win a certain game (HS Championship, National Championship, Conference Championship), you actually have to play those games to get the achievement. DO NOT SIM THESE GAMES!

There are 39 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Complete a pass for 50 or more yards in a Play Now, Dynasty, or Road to Glory game (excludes co-op).

Simply complete a pass for 50+ yard pass. If you want an easy way of doing this, simply use two controllers and have the ball around the 25 yard line on your side of the field on offense. Select a Hail Mary pass for the offense and field goal block for the defense. As soon as you hike the ball, pass to any receiver and take it for a touchdown.

  • Score a touchdown handing off to the fullback on a triple option play (excludes co-op).

Get the ball near the goal line and choose a triple option play. After you hike the ball, hold to hand the ball to the fullback and score.

  • Score a touchdown on a QB Choice run play (excludes co-op).

The play isn't actually called a QB Choice. Many teams have the play (Oregon is the one I used, but you can also use a different team with their playbook). Get it down around the goal line, select the QB Wrap play, and run it in for the touchdown.

  • Gain 200 rushing yards and 200 passing yards in the same game (excludes co-op and Road to Glory).

Simply pass and rush for 200 yards as a team in either quick play or dynasty. If you are having trouble, increase the amount of time in a game and play as a high ranked team against a low ranked team.

  • With Player Lock on, return an interception for a TD (excludes co-op).

This is one of the hardest achievements for the game. You can use 2 controllers to make it a little easier. What I did was max out all of CB stats on a team. Then selected that team and a team with a weak defense and set the quarter length to 15 min. When the opposing team has the ball, get it down to somewhere around the 20. For the opposing team select one of the plays that has just one receiver running out then select a man coverage play for your team. Highlight the player covering that one receiver then select that player with player lock () and hold and select the receiver you are covering (for the In Your Crosshairs achievement), then used the second controller to pass in the direction until you intercepted the ball. Pick up your controller and run it back in for a touchdown.

  • Spotlight a receiver and get an interception on him in a Play Now or Dynasty game (excludes co-op).

    Refer to Locked and Loaded.

  • Win a game by 35+ points on Heisman difficulty (excludes co-op).

This is not as hard as it sounds if you use sliders and play as a top 10 team against a team like Army. You can also turn off penalties to make it easier.

  • Have the #1 ranked recruiting class in a season in single team Dynasty Mode.

    Refer to Dual Threat Coach.

  • In a single phone call, take 250 points away from one school by downplaying pitches.

During Dynasty mode, choose a six star school and add a two star or less recruit to your list. Spend the first two or three weeks finding out their interest. By this time, there should be a few two star schools trying to get the player. Select one of the players and use 60 minutes phone call. Select one of the school and downplay the school. If you choose a school with C and less ratings, you should have no problem getting it. I took over 500 points from a school during a phone call when I got the achievement.

  • Play and win the High School Championship Game in any state.

Unlike the previous games, Road to Glory begins with the start of you senior year in High School. Just try to go undefeated in the regular season to get a spot in the playoffs then win the HS Championship.

  • Finish High School as a 5 star prospect in Road to Glory.

    Refer to Ultimate Ironman.

  • Become a starter in Road to Glory Mode.

There are two ways to get this. The first is to select a school that you will be a starter to get the achievement automatically. The second is to start off as a second or third string and earn your spot by doing practices and earning coach's trust. If you do the second method you will also earn the Battle Tested achievement

  • Win the Heisman Memorial Trophy® in single team Dynasty Mode or Road to Glory Mode.

This achievement can only be earned in Dynasty or Road to Glory. I found it easier to unlock it in Dynasty mode as you have more control of the plays and control more then one player. Simply  pad players' stats (example: If you are using a running back use run plays a lot and don't sub out the player) and the Heisman and the achievement will be yours with little to no effort.

  • In Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on your team's All-Time leaderboard.

Refer to Best of All Time.

  • In Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on your conference's All-Time leaderboard.

Refer to Best of All Time.

  • In Road to Glory Mode, earn a spot on the NCAA All-Time leaderboard.

In the Road to Glory menu, go to the My Career Tab and select Offline Leaderboards at the bottom. This will show how many points needed to make each of the leaderboards. Select My Accomplishments of the same tab to see how to earn the points and how many points you have earned (Legend Score). The easiest way to do this is to max out the stats for a RE on Notre Dame, use that RE for your RTG, turn off offsides, and keep sacking the QB. You should beable to get this achievement in 4 games using this method.

  • Score an offensive and defensive touchdown in a Road To Glory high school game

When you are making your player for Road to Glory, you now have the option to give him a secondary position. Select one for offense and one for defense. I found it easier to get you player to a 5 star on defense because my player started to get more force fumbles once I had him at 5 stars.

  • Finish High School as a 5 star prospect in Road to Glory on both offense and defense.

Using the character you made for Ironman Performance, finish off the season while doing really good at both positions. The achievement will unlock after the last high school game. You will also unlock the Best in Class achievement by doing this.

  • Win a position battle in Road To Glory

When selecting a college team for RTG after the High School season, you will be shown what string you will play. For this achievement, select either 2nd or 3rd string position. Now work on earning points for coach’s trust in practice. Once you fill up the bar and go to the next week, you will be able to challenge for the next position. To win this you will have meet a certain score based on how you do each rep. A touchdown will give you almost 1000 points so go for those. Win that and you will earn the next position and the achievement.

  • Reach the max coach trust in Road to Glory

Coach trust is essentially leveling up. Everytime you do something (big gains, yards gained, touchdowns) you earn points and start to fill up the bar. When you fill up the bar, you gain a new level. The number of levels is determined by which position you play. The easiest way to earn points is by doing good in practice. Just reach the last level to unlock the achievement.

  • Create a 16 team super conference in Dynasty

After creating a new dynasty, you will be able to edit your dynasty. Simply select Custom Conferences option, select a conference, and add 16 teams.

  • Edit the BCS tie-ins to grant a BCS tie-in to a non-AQ conference

Before actually starting a new dynasty, you will be able to edit your dynasty. Select the BCS Bowl Tie-Ins option, select an open slot, and choose a conference and select "Any" bowl.

  • Edit a division name of a conference in Dynasty

Before actually starting a new dynasty, you will be able to edit your dynasty. Simply select Custom Conferences option, select a conference with two divisions, press , select one of the Division Name, and rename it.

  • Play and win the inaugural Big Ten Championship game in Dynasty

Start a new dynasty and select a team from the Big Ten (you can move your team into the conference). Make sure you win most of your conference to be number 1 in you division and get to the Big Ten Championship. Win this game to unlock the achievement.

An easy way of doing this is to take all the Big Ten teams out of the conference add in a top ten team for your team and fill the rest with one stars (until you have enough for two division) and sim the season. You should be undefeated (if not you will be in the Big Ten Championship game regardless). Play the Championship game and it will unlock.

  • Play and win the inaugural PAC-12 Championship game in Dynasty

Refer to Leaders of Legends, but use the PAC-12 instead.

  • Play and win the National Championship game with BYU in the first year of Dynasty

You can not change the conference of BYU for this achievement. Doing this normaly would be extremely hard and time consuming since Independents can not be added into the AQ. However, there is an easy way to do this. Create the following custom schedule:

    1. Oklahoma
    2. Alabama
    3. Oregon
    4. LSU
    5. Texas A&M
    6. Mississippi State
    7. TCU
    8. Notre Dame
    9. Open
    10. Florida State
    11. Open
    12. Auburn
    13. Stanford
    14. FCS Team

Using this schedule you will get you strength of schedule advantage and eliminate some of the top teams. Now turn all of the sliders in your favor, turn off offsides, and set quarters to one minute. Once you get up by 3 scores and to the half, supersim it and you should have no problem getting the win. I was ranked #1 by week 10 using this method. If you get to week 10 and are not number one, play a game as the teams above you and keep running the ball for safeties to make them lose.

Note: If for some reason the game won't let you select one of the teams, just select any ranked team

  • Lead your alma mater to a National Championship as a head coach in Dynasty (Coach Contracts on)

    Refer to Dual Threat Coach.

  • Edit a conference's members in a Dynasty off-season

After finishing a season in dynasty toward the end of the off-season, you will be given the option to edit conferences. Simply add a team to a conference to unlock the achievement.

  • As a head coach in Dynasty, sign an extension to stay at the same school (Coach Contracts on)

The following schools have one year contracts: Air Force, Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Colorado State, Houston (recommended), Idaho, Iowa State, Kent State, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Memphis, Mississippi State, North Texas, SDSU, SJSU, Toledo, Wake Forest, Washington, Western Kentucky.

The reason for the recommendation (Houston) is because your can more than likely sim the season and get rehired because of the offensive firepower in an underpowered conference. I simmed it and went 14-0, ranked #6 in the BCS, won the Liberty Bowl, and my QB got the Heisman because it's such a pass-oriented offense.

  • Become the head coach of your alma mater in Dynasty (Coach Contracts on)

    Refer to Dual Threat Coach.

  • Escape the hot seat (less than 30% security) to keep your job for next Season (Coach Contracts on)

Start a new dynasty and choose a mediocre team. Schedule as many of the top ranked teams. Sim through to the end of the season and you should have a losing record and have less than 30% security. Play through the off season and you should be able to keep your job.

An alternate method is to start off by choosing Texas and become the head coach. Go to roster and edit everyone over 80 overall. Lower the first 5 options to 0 and then save. Continue that until all players over 80 overall change to 40 overall. Now go to your depth chart and make everyone that is now 40 overall a starting position. If you get to a position with no one that is 40 overall, just skip that position. It shouldn't matter if some positions have decent overall players. The positions that are most important to have starters at 40 overall are QB, HB, and WR. Now simulate to the start of the season. After that simulate to conference championship week. You most likely will be 0-12 at the end of the conference championship week. You will not qualify for any bowls, so just simulate to the end of the season. The achievement will unlock after the season ends.

  • Win the BCS Championship & have the #1 recruiting class in a single season as head coach in Dynasty

When starting a dynasty season, make your coaches alma mater the school that you are going to use and select that school to play as (for example, If you want to use the Gators, select your alma mater and team for University of Florida). This will unlock Dream Job. Before you start up your dynasty, you can create recruits for the season. Simply create about 12 recruits (different positions) with maxed out stats from the same city your schools in (use a 6 star school as it will be easier to win recruits and get to the national championship). You can also create one recruit with low stats from your state to go for Point Some Fingers. During the season, make sure to call them and spend time talking to them and go undefeated to win the national championship. Most of the recruit should sign with you. If you can sign at least 10 five star recruits, you will be good. If you followed this guide, you will get the Dual Threat Coach, Living Legend, Hometown Hero, and Best Class Ever achievements.

  • Reach a coach prestige of A+ with a created coach in Dynasty (Coach Contracts on)

    Refer to Dual Threat Coach.

  • In Online Dynasty, write a comment on a Dynasty Wire story

This is online achievement. However, you do not need an online pass to do this. When it asks you if you want to redeem/purchase an online pass, you are also given an option for a free 2 day trial. Select this then go to Online Dynasty and join a game that has a few people in it and is a few weeks in. Go to the Dynasty Wire and write a comment one of the stories.

  • Defeat a rival using your backup QB. Minimum 15 pass attempts (excludes co-op)

Simply start a rival game (it will note it at the team select screen). Before the game starts, put in your backup quarterback and through at least 15 passes. The achievement will unlock at the end of the game.

  • Win the game without scoring an offensive touchdown and gaining less than 200 total yards.

Set the quarter length to one minute and play against a real low team with a team with excellent defense. For this achievement you can score with safety and field goals (it has been reported that defensive touchdown will not work so to be safe, just score FG and safeties). Play some good defense. Once you get your points and get the ball back simply try to kill the clock.

  • Create a custom playbook

From the Main Menu, go to the Team Management tab and select Custom Playbooks. Select if you want to do offense or defense then select a team. Add a play or form and the achievement will unlock.

  • Upload a photo or video to EASports.com

Simply take a photo or video of a play in the game and save it (if you have started Road to Glory and played a game on it, you will already have photos and videos). At the main menu, go to the My NCAA Legacy tab and select the EA Sports Highlights. Select the mode you want to pull your photo/video from, select the game, select the photo/video and select if you want to do just that one or all of the highlights.

  • Break off a 20 yard run to celebrate 20 years of EA SPORTS!

Simply make a 20 yard run. Maximize a running back's stats and play a team with a weak defense to make this easier.
