Introduction:
NBA 2K6 was also one of the first sport games to come out on the Xbox 360. There are in total 5 achievements in this game worth a total of 1000 . You can easily obtain all 5 of these achievements in the same game with hopefully no problems.

Step 1:
I would suggest putting the Quarter Length at about 7 or 8 minutes to give you some time to get these achievements. I would also suggest adjusting the sliders for your team to 100% and your opponents sliders to 0% to get these achievements faster. If you do that you should not miss hardly any shots and therefore you should get the "Score 50 Points with Any Player" and "Make 15 3-pointers in One Game" achievements with ease. You should also get the "Score 140 Points with Any Team" achievement by the end of the game since the sliders were adjusted for your team. Now to obtain the "Get a Triple-Double" achievement try and grab rebounds with the player you scored 50 points with. After you get the "Grab 20 Rebounds with Any Player" achievement steal the ball from your opponent and once you get 10 steals you'll get the triple-double achievement.

Note: You can use 2 controllers to get the achievements. Also add some extra time to the Quarter Length if you think you need to.

Conclusion:
Nothing really left to say except congratulations on getting an extra 1000 and for completing a game. The game should have been extremely easy and you should have gotten all 5 achievements in one game

There are 5 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • This was achieved by getting a triple-double with any player.

A triple-double is when a player reaches double figures in three of five offensive categories - scoring, assists, blocked shots, steals or rebounds. The easiest way to do this is put the game on rookie and choose any team. Now, you must go into options and toy around with the sliders. Give yourself full three pointers, blocks, rebounds, etc and put them all down for the CPU. Set the game to a time you think you'll be able to achieve them all. For some people they can use 3 minute quarters (total 12 minutes) and earn every achievement. For others it may be different (recommend 12 minutes in total to ensure you receive all achievements). For all the achievements, use The Western All Stars.

  • This was achieved by scoring 50 points in a game with any player.

Do the exact same as the triple double achievement. With all the sliders in your favour, you will almost never miss a shot. Make sure the difficulty is on rookie so you can ensure that a single shot is almost never missed.

  • This was achieved by scoring 140 points in a game with any team.

With a decent amount of time, all the sliders in your favour, and the difficulty on rookie, you should be able to amass 140 points with real ease. Constantly shoot three pointers to run up the score and make sure you're trying to steal as often as possible.

  • This was achieved by making 15 3-pointers in a single game.

You do not need a specific team for this. The reason being is because on rookie and the sliders in your favour, you will never miss a shot. Heck, I even used Shaq and was making 3 pointers with ease. Rookie difficulty gives a wider range of error for jump shots. With the sliders turned up, there is really no reason you should be missing any 3 pointers especially with players who already have high 3 pointers.

  • This was achieved by getting 20 rebounds in a game with any player.

For every achievement, make sure you're using the Western All-Stars. Reason being is because you can substitute a wide range of the best players in the West. Now, once you've finished your scoring achievements, turn your scoring sliders down and substitute all your tallest players in. Now constantly steal the ball back from the other team and start shooting the ball from long distances. This will ensure a definite miss and allow your tall players to make the rebounds. This shouldn't take too long.

Note: You can use a second controller for all of these and the achievements are unlocked once you've COMPLETED the game. Please also make sure that auto-subs are off so that the game does not automatically remove players that are currently playing.
