Introduction:
Welcome to Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. If you follow this roadmap and finish off one thing before moving onto the next, this should be an easy 1000. That way you can keep track of everything you’ve done. It's not a hard game by any means, just time consuming.

There are many different modes you can play in this game, and they are all required to play if you want to get 1000 in it. There’s Story mode, Free Play mode, Ground Assault missions and Space missions. Luckily, Superstory mode (from the previous Lego Star Wars games) does not make a return. Each mode is explained below. There are also two “hubs” (a Republic and Separatist ship) where you can access those missions, purchase characters and vehicles/ships that you have unlocked, travel to different systems, and get some random achievements.

Certain Bounty Hunter and Ground Assault missions cannot be completed if you haven’t unlocked and purchased a particular character. Search around the hubs for them (the guide has where they are located as they are unlocked in the hub under each mission achievement).

You have to accumulate gold bricks to open new areas of your hubs. If you try to access an area where you need gold bricks, it will tell you how many are needed to unlock it. See “Stealth Wealth” for how many gold bricks are unlocked for completing what task.

Also, there is one achievement that you have to get by not using the Invincibility red brick. It is “The Force is With You” (Complete a story level without dying [and no invincibility cheat]). You can use the Regenerate Hearts red brick, though.

There is one achievement that seems to be glitchy. It is the “A Presence I’ve Not Felt Since” achievement (Collect all the minikits). It seems to not be unlocking for some people. The achievement says ‘Single Player Only’, but the main profile can unlock it if playing in co-op, even if the second player has collected some of them. Right now, there’s no real workaround for this if it doesn’t unlock for you without playing through the game a second (or third) time. Travellers Tales have suggested entering every mission then Save & Quit without collecting anything. This seems to have not worked.

The sections of each hub ship are laid out here.

Cheat Codes:
There are cheat codes for every character, vehicle/ship (except novelty ones) and red brick in the game. That link is here if you don’t want to find everything in the game. To enter a cheat code, hit Start, go to the Extras menu, and choose “Enter Secret Code”. There are a few achievements that you can unlock using them:

  • Cheat!” (Collect all red power bricks)
  • Clanker Collector” (Unlock/purchase all 'Droid' characters)
  • Jedi Master” (True Jedi in every level) – If you have all the stud multiplier red bricks turned on, you can get this in your first run through Story mode.

There are no achievements for unlocking all the characters or vehicles/ships this game, but they all are needed for the 100% achievement. So, if you are having trouble finding one or two characters or unlocking a certain vehicle/ship, you can always use the code for it if you want. Remember, if you use a code to unlock a character that is built from the minikits (the 22 Classic characters), you still have to collect all the minikits for the “A Presence I’ve Not Felt Since” achievement (Collect all the minikits).

"Fives" is the only character that doesn't have a code and can only be unlocked by completing the Story mode level 'Rookies'. He is needed for the “Jango’s Army” achievement. Savage Opress is a character that can only be unlocked by typing in his code (MELL07) in the cheats menu. He is not needed for the 100% achievement. (thanks Reigning Darth)

Step 1: Story mode (36 for 510)
Your first run through the game will be playing and completing Story Mode. There are 22 missions to go through. You get an achievement for each mission. By my count, you can also get an additional 12 achievements just by playing through Story mode and plotting out which achievements can be unlocked during which mission. There are also two additional achievements you can unlock:

  • For “Jango’s Army”, you unlock all the characters throughout Story mode except for two. You need to find all the minikits in the missions ‘Blue Shadow Virus’ (Classic Shadow Stormtrooper) and ‘Liberty on Ryloth’ (Classic Stormtrooper) to unlock them. Or, you can just enter in their cheat codes.
  • You can get the “Jedi Master” achievement in this playthrough if you’ve used the codes to unlock all the red bricks and have the stud multipliers turned on.

You unlock a majority of the characters and vehicles/ships by completing Story mode. Then you have to walk around the hubs to purchase some of them (some you don’t have to purchase). Look at the Story mission achievements to see who and what are unlocked when you complete that particular mission.

By my count, you should have unlocked at least 36 achievements (potentially). Only 12 more to go!

Note: The next three steps can be done in any order, but recommended that you complete one before moving onto the next.

Step 2: Free Play (1 for 70)
This playthrough you are going to get all the minikits. Here is a link to a guide and videos on how to collect them all. This is probably the most time consuming aspect of the game.

37 achievements down for 580. Only 11 more to go.

Step 3: Ground Assault missions (3 for 70)
There are two achievements that can be unlocked by doing the ground battles, “Viceroy of the Fleet” and “Admiral of the Fleet”. Note that you need to have unlocked and purchased certain characters to unlock some ground battles. You need to convert all 16 systems to one faction for one achievement, and then convert them to the other faction for the other achievement. But, for the 100% achievement (and the “Stealth Wealth” achievement), you need a gold brick for each battle (32 in all), so if there are some that are locked, you may have to convert it to one faction and then back to the other for the gold brick. Keep a list of which ones you have unlocked the gold brick on.

Note: In regards to the achievements, after you complete Story mode, it is recommended that you convert the systems to Separatist first (since six systems are locked and already converted to Separatist), then to Republic. Then you just have to convert those six that were previously locked back to Separatist for the gold bricks.

You can also get the “Finder’s Keepers” achievement (Hijack 20 enemy units in Ground Battles) during these missions.

That’s 40 achievements unlocked for 650. Just 8 more to go.

Step 4: Space missions
While there is no achievement for completing all the space battles, it is needed for the 100% achievement because you get a gold brick for every one you complete (16 of them). All space battles are pretty straight forward; start by flying out in between the two ships, destroying the gold brick in the bubble and destroying Lego items. Some missions you need a Rapid Fire ship, others ones with Missiles or Torpedoes. The game tells you what you need when you fly out. See “Stealth Wealth” for tips on two of the space battles as you need to do something else before you can fly into battle.

The Rishi Moon space battle might give you trouble. Look here for tips.

Still at 650

Mop Up:
You should only have a few miscellaneous achievements left to unlock.

  • You have to complete all 16 Bounty Hunter missions for a gold brick each (guide is here) and the achievement “Isn't Negotiation the Jedi Way?” for 20. If these are your last gold bricks to obtain, you will also get the “Stealth Wealth” achievement for 70.
  • You also may have to do the “The Dark Side I Sense In You” achievement (Free all villains from the Resolute brig) for 50. You can do that after you complete all the Ground Assault missions, as some characters are unlocked by completing those missions.
  • For “Twice the Pride, Double the Fall” (Defeat Anakin with Count Dooku), simply choose both characters in the hub and kill Anakin with Dooku. This is worth 10.
  • If you didn’t use the cheat codes to unlock all 18 red bricks for the “Cheat!” achievement for 70, you have to find them in the two hubs. There is a guide here with the locations to all of them.
  • For “Land-o Calrissian”, you have to have collected all the minikits in the ‘Shadow of Malevolence’ mission. Use him to fly between hubs and land with him to unlock the achievement. This is worth 10.
  • For “They’ll Never See Us Coming” (Win 3 consecutive Arcade Mode Battles), you have to hook up a second controller to play Arcade mode. Access the mission terminal and choose the bottom right screen. Look in the guide to see how to unlock it. It is worth 20.

100%:
If you’ve completed all of the above, you should get the final 100 achievement, “Impressive, Most Impressive”. Listed below is a breakdown of what you need. You may have already unlocked this achievement earlier if you’ve completed the requirements.

You need to do the following to get 100%:

  • Complete all 22 Story missions
  • You must "True Jedi" all 22 missions (in Story mode or Free Play)
  • Collect all 220 Minikits (10 each in 20 Story missions including Prologue and Epilogue plus two hidden missions)
  • Complete all 32 Ground Assault missions (16 each for the Republic and the Separatists)
  • Complete all 16 Space missions
  • Complete all 16 Bounty Hunter missions
  • Collect all 130 gold bricks (see “Stealth Wealth” for the breakdown. You must also build the LEGO structure with all 130 bricks on the Republic ship)
  • Collect all 18 red bricks (or use the cheats)
  • Purchase and/or unlock all characters (114 in all)
  • You must purchase/unlock all Ground Assault vehicles
  • You must purchase/unlock all Flight Based ships
  • You must unlock all Novelty vehicles (look here for their locations)

Conclusion:
Congratulations on another 1000. This isn’t a hard completion by any means; just time consuming (as are all Lego games). You will spend the most time collecting the minikits and about four hours doing the Ground Assault and Space missions. If you’ve missed anything, be sure to look at the guide thoroughly, and even search the forums if you having trouble with a particular achievement. Good luck!

From and control console you can select to travel to a system. in each system there is a gold brick mission that can be completed in space. Now, in most cases you can just hop in a ship and fly out into space and find the gold brick marker halfway between the two vessels.

There are two special cases, however.

    • Maridun - Go to the turret gun hangar aboard the Invisible Hand and shoot down the enemy ship until you hear a sound similar to a minikit being picked up. Now you can access the Gold Brick space mission for that system.
    • Ryloth - Go to the turret gun hangar aboard the Resolute and shoot down the debris blocking your view of the other ship. Once you hear the sound that sounds like a minikit being picked up you can now access the Gold Brick space mission for that system.

Also note that each level in ground battle has to be converted to both Republic and Separatist. Even though a level may start out as red for Separatist, you will need to convert it to Republic (Blue) to get one gold brick and then back to Separatist (Red) for a second gold brick.

Once you have collected all 130 Gold Bricks, a surprise waits for you in the main hangar bay of the Resolute.

  • Free all villains from the Resolute brig. (Single Player Only)

There are six characters in all that need to be freed from the brig. This will be done while in the hub and not in story or free play modes. The brig is located on the Republic Ship Resolute.

To get there from the main hub, go down the elevator on the left and once through head to the right at the bottom of the screen. Use gold bricks to open the corridor and there you have it. The first four characters are unlocked by completing the story mode and viewing their respective cutscenes.

    • Poggle The Lesser
    • Dr. Nuvo Vindi
    • Wat Tambor
    • Lok Durd

The last two are unlocked by completing Ground Assault Levels for the Republic.

    • Nute Gunray - Naboo Level
    • Whorm Loathson - Christophsis Level

You will need Bounty Hunters, Charge Characters, Droid Characters and Sith Characters to free them and purchase them once you've unlocked them.

Each cell needs to be unlocked and the methods for doing so are fairly straightforward with the exception of the second cell from the right. You have to use a Sith character to rotate the dial with the blue lights on it clockwise until the four corners are lit as well. Then use a Droid character to open the cell.

Note that for that cell I used Anakin with the Red Power brick for Dark Side activated, if you find you are having trouble. Try moving around a bit too if you find you can't highlight it immediately.

  • Convert every system to CIS. (Single Player Only)

To access Ground Assault for the Separatists, you must be on the Invisible Hand and have collected enough Gold Bricks to open the ship located in the main hangar bay. Once through, there should be a control console on the main deck of the ship that will allow you to access that console.

Buy a heavy vehicle to blow through the defenses and there you have it. Note that all planets in the system must be converted to Separatist (Red) at the same time in order to unlock the achievement.

While working for the 100% achievement, once every system has been converted to Separatist once, you will unlock Grand Moff Tarkin as a playable character. Note that if a system begins under Separatist control it must be converted to Republic and then back to Separatist in order to unlock the character.

  • Convert every system to the Republic. (Single Player Only)

To access Ground Battle for the Republic, you must have access to particular control console. To get there from the main hub, go down the elevator on your left and head to the far right corner with the metal grating. Once through, take the elevator to the right, which requires gold bricks (I believe 40) and go through there.

After you get down there, you will need to buy a heavy vehicle to blow through the locked grating in the middle of the room. (I suggest the AT-AP) That is the ground assault console you see through it. Note that all planets in the system must be converted to Republic (Blue) at the same time in order for the achievement to unlock.

While working for the 100% achievement, once every system has been converted to Separatist once, you will unlock Chancellor Palpatine as a playable character. Note that if a system begins under Republic control it must be converted to Separatist and then back to Republic in order to unlock the character.

    Ground Assault Tactics:
Always pick a heavy vehicle to start with as they can take care of all basic and silver bases quickly and efficiently leaving only gold structures to deal with later.

    • Republic: AT-AP Walker or Pirate Speeder Tank
    • Separatist: Pirate Speeder Tank, AAT or Super Tank.

    Level Tactics:

    • Destroy Statues: Focus first on what protects the statues followed by destroying the statues themselves. Do not waste time destroying enemy bases.
    • Build Escape Pod: Eliminate all nearby bases, pausing to build the newest available building in the area once the base has been wiped. Build your Escape Pod on the same base you built your shield for added protection. Destroy only what you need to.
    • Destroy Enemy Command Center: Focus on what protects that Command Center and eliminate all protection first. The give everything you've got to crushing the Command Center.
    • Destroy All Enemy Buildings: The best advice for this one is to use the small Speeder Bikes or something along those lines. They may be slower than a heavy vehicle, but they can destroy any building on the map without having to worry about chasing down a different vehicle.
  • Complete all Bounty missions. (Single Player Only)

In order to begin and complete the Bounty Hunter missions, you must have accomplished the following:

    • Completed Story Mode (for all available bounties)
    • Completed the "Hostage Crisis" mission aboard the Invisible Hand (to unlock Bounty Hunter missions)

The Bounty Hunter missions can be located on the Invisible Hand.

To get there, simply take the same path you would have taken to get to the "Hostage Crisis" mission. Go up to the platform in front of the curtain to begin. Thanks to jagiber85, an awesome Bounty Hunter mission guide can be found here.

  • Use Yoda to defeat 5 enemies with one lightsaber throw.

This one is simple, all you have to do is use Yoda (I did this in ground assault) and hold the button to activate your light saber throw. Then simply select five droids (Battle Droids are best) and release! Achievement unlocked.

Secret achievements

  • Hijack 20 enemy units in Ground Battles.

If you don't obtain this during your playthrough of the story, you will while making your way through the Ground Assault Levels. Attack an enemy until the driver gets tossed from the vehicle, then board it and take off running. Do this 20 separate times.

  • Destroy an enemy building with a proton torpedo

You will get this during the "Gungan General" story mode level. Collect a torpedo from a dispenser while in a vehicle and shoot it at the purple target on a building to destroy it.

  • Complete: 5 Loop the loops, 5 Back flips, 5 corkscrews.

The best place to complete this is while cruising in space between the Republic and Separatist ships. While flying, use the and simply double tap forward, backwards and left or right five times each. Double tapping will cause you to do the trick once.

  • Have all your party members disguised as Senate Commandos in Hostage Crisis. (Story mode only)

In the Hostage Crisis level you will be attacked by Senate commandos, once they die they will drop their helmet. Simply walk up to the helmet with each member of your party and press  to put the helmet on. Once all members have it on the achievement will pop. Do this after the sniper section that kicks off the level.

  • Win 3 consecutive Arcade Mode Battles.

For this one, you will need to hook up a second controller. Once it is active you can select arcade mode from and control console. You can set timers and parameters for the arcade mode battles, easiest is to set it up to destroy the enemy command center on a 3 minute timer. Do this three times.

  • Deploy 500 Clones.

Another one of those achievements that you should probably obtain while playing through the story mode. Build buildings that deploy clones. Once you hit 500 total across all game modes (Ground Battles apply too) this achievement will pop.

  • On a flying level, land a space ship whilst controlling Lando Calrissian.

You need to first collect all the mini kits on the Shadow of Malevolence level. Info on that here. You use his cheat code (eraewe) to unlock him for the cheats menu

Once done, go to the mini kit room on the Republic Ship Resolute. From the main hub, head down the elevator on the left and go to the bottom left doorway in the next section. Use your collected gold bricks to open the doors and go through the elevator.

Find Lando's pod, open and buy him. Now land a vehicle with him as your main character, either in story mode, free play mode or in the hub.

  • Land on the Invisible Hand.

You will get this the first time you travel to the enemy ship, the  Invisible Hand. See earlier in the guide for how to get there if you haven't already.

  • Using the Radio ability, command troops 50 times.

This one will come with time and you should have it by the time you complete both the Republic and Separatist ground assault campaigns. You have to use a character with the radio ability like Commander Cody and have troops with the radio signals above their heads.

Walk up to them and press to get them under your command and then go to a target and hold until it highlights to get them to attack. That counts as one command. Do this 50 times.

  • Complete a story level without dying (and no invincibility cheat).

Simply complete a level without dying or cheating. It may sound complicated but it really isn't. Just take your time and don't fall off a ledge or anything. I did this on the Legacy of Terror level. You can also use the regenerate hearts Red brick to complete this as well.

    Regenerate Hearts - 2d7jns

  • Destroy 100 Droids with the Clone Chain-gun.

This can be done in Story Mode or Ground Assault. Kill 100 guys with Hevy on the "Rookies" level in one sitting is the easiest I find as there is a never ending stream of droid troops. This is not cumulative across multiple playthroughs.

  • UH OH!

    20

Using the Force, take control of a Super Battle Droid and destroy 50 other Droids.

Using a Jedi, use the force by holding and picking up a super battle droid. Either the blackish grey ones, the yellow ones or the rocket ones. While holding one, shoot and destroy 50 other droids. You will end up targeting most of them once they get close by. The level "Jedi Crash" apparently works well (thanks Kestrel)

  • Overheat and destroy 50 gold LEGO bricks.

You will get this well after one run through of the story mode, most likely while doing replays for minikits or Ground Assaults. Any yellow bricked object will need to be shot repeatedly either by a vehicle or by a group of troops under your command or also a battle droid you have grabbed using the force. Destroy 50 gold bricked LEGO objects to unlock the achievement.

  • Defeat Anakin with Count Dooku

I did this one on my first visit to the Invisible Hand after buying Dooku. You can also do this during the Castle of Doom level or just about anywhere, even in Free Play. Use Dooku, kill Anakin. That is all.
