Introduction
Welcome to LEGO Indiana Jones. This game has a total of 50 achievements and requires two playthroughs to get 1000. The reason that two playthroughs is required is because after beating a level on story mode, you must then go through it again in Free Play mode in order to gather the remaining collectibles that were unavailable on the initial playthrough the level.
From the achievement guide:
For the achievement Fortune & glory kid, there has been a report that this Lego game has the same 100% glitch as did Lego Star Wars: TCS. Basically, the game shows you at 100%, but no achievement. The solution that worked in the first game, works on this incarnation as well. Exit from the game completely, and go back to the dashboard. Then boot the game back up, go into any level at random, and then save and exit the level, and the achievement will unlock.
For the You chose... wisely achievement some people have had the problem of this achievement not unlocking after collecting all of the characters. The solution for this problem that worked for me is to simply replay the "Young Indy" bonus level and it should unlock once the level is completed.
Playthrough:
When you begin a new game you will immediately be thrust into the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" story mode. As soon as you have control, press and choose to go back to Bartlett College. Once you're at the college go to the classroom and enter all of the cheat codes found HERE on the chalkboard. NOTE: Many people get confused and think that cheats will automatically activate once entered, not true. To activate the cheats while playing a level, press and then choose Extras. From here you can select which cheats you wish to use. Once all the cheats are entered run back to the story board and begin your playthrough (after you finish the first level, use all the money you get to buy all of the characters you unlocked with the cheat codes). For each playthrough a level you have a few things to keep in mind. First grab all of the artifacts you can on story mode. This artifacts are listed by level and in order HERE. You also want to turn on all of your treasure multipliers to get the True Adventurer status. NOTE: Once you have true adventurer pop up on the screen it won't go away if you fall below the required stud amount.
When you finish a level on story mode, before you re-enter the level in Free Play, run over to Indy's office and use the Thuggee Statue, Scholar ability, blow up the shields, dig up the box and scream to break the glass covering the other box. Getting in the habit of doing this will make mopping up the miscellaneous achievements after you beat the game much easier. Now reenter the level you just completed and choose Free Play. Make sure to grab all of the remaining artifacts as well as the 5 Star Wars characters listed HERE. NOTE: Don't worry about mailing the parcel, if you entered all of the cheat codes then the game counts all 18 as mailed already. Repeat the above process until you have completed every level of all three movies, collected every artifact, collected all 5 Star Wars characters and gotten True Adventurer in every level.
NOTE: There is a common misconception that the invincibility cheat blocks achievements. This isn't true. You just can't use it when going for the It's not the years honey... achievement (which is easiest to get on the Escape the Mines level). Other than that you can cheat as much as you want whenever you want without any consequences.
Bonus Levels:
Now that you have completed the story, it's time for the three bonus levels. For a strategy on getting 1,000,000 studs in the ancient city click here. For the warehouse level, enter the level as a bazooka character, and run as far to the right as you can. You will eventually see a target, shoot it with your character and it will drop an unlimited amount of studs. Repeat until 1,000,000 is reached. After you have completed all of the bonus levels, you should have gotten the achievement for 100% in the game. If this hasn't happened check and make sure you have gotten everything you have. If you have, then reference the glitch fix mentioned above.
Mop Up:
At this point you should just have the "Do this action X amount of times" achievements remaining. At this point you can either follow the achievement guide's advice, the advice mentioned HERE, or make up your own. Also, there is a very easy way to grind the Disarm achievement mentioned HERE. Last, if you followed my advice and went to Indy's office in between playing levels then this process will be much quicker.
Conclusion:
That's it! If at this point you're still missing an achievement reference the achievement guide or search the forum for an answer to any question you may have.
