Intro
Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus is is the 4th revision/update to the GGX2 franchise which makes it more like SFII in terms of updates, new moves and other stuff, it also includes a new storyline and the return of Kliff and Justice, since their absence from non-plus. New Missions and 2 versions of Survival and a new Gallery. There will also be a 5th revision/update (in a form of a patch and free required DLC) called GGACP+R which will make more improvements and changes in the game and make both Kliff/Justice nerfed and tourney legal.
Controls and How to Play: https://bit.ly/V7fd1v
Personal Button Layout: -Punch, -Kick, -Slash, -Heavy Slash, -Dust,-Respect, -Burst, -IK Mode (Change it in controller settings.)
Universal Moves Layout:
Double Jump/Hi-Jump: (x2) for DJ (triple for Chipp), , for Hi-Jump
Dash/Run/Etc: and/or twice.
Recovery: Hold any button while in air after getting hit from certain attacks.
Force Break: Directional inputs + (Consumes 25% Tension, more if used in a FB combo special.)
Faultless Defense: Any 2 buttons and except + (Simul.) and Dust, green barrier will shield you from any Special/Overdrive damage. (Consumes Tension and slowly decreases, faster though when attacked.)
Slashback: + and Simultaneously, will quickly show a yellow flash to parry attacks. (Consumes Tension)
Dead Angle: During guard, press any 2 buttons, this will counter-attack the opponent if close. (Consumes 50% Tension)
Burst: Dust+Any Atk (or ), in certain situations, using Gold Burst if hit on opponent will completely fill your Tension Gauge 100%, using Burst when attacked, guard, comboed, etc, will be blue, only best used if the opponent tries to have the upper hand. (Depletes Burst Gauge fully if Blue, partial if Gold.)
Roman Cancel: Any 3 attack buttons during a combo, flashes red, and then you can continue to cancel your combo into another continuous string of combos. (Consumes 50% Tension)
False Roman Cancel: Same as R.C. but sometimes a harder way to cancel certain special moves during their active frames towards a combo, also, the flash is blue instead of red. (Consumes 25% Tension)
Negative Penalty: Drains your entire tension meter if you play defensively too much and not attack. This also slowly gains a real short amount of meter until a certain amount of time passes to fill it back up normally.
Instant Kill: +++ simul. (or ) except dust, changes to IK gauge, then perform , (x2)+ (May, Dizzy and Non-EX Order Sol have different inputs), as the name implies, it’s a 1-hit KO, regardless of health, and should only be used as a last resort. If missed, you’ll lose the Tension gauge for the entire round until the next round.
Before starting to get every other achievement (besides the easy ones), it is in my best interest to unlock Justice (after clearing 10 missions), cause this will help you in doing...
The Justice Method:
Because mostly Justice (for now) is really the best character to go for most, if not all modes, all you have to do is really spam a couple times, then , then , and do ,,+ as a bread and butter.
Then her overdrives come into play as well:
Imperial Ray (50% Tension), upwards laser super, best used close: ,,,+
Micheal Blade (50% Tension), Full Ground Super: ,,,+
Gamma Ray (100% Tension), Full Screen Beam Super: ,,,,,+
Note: AC+ version of Justice can be usable in the +R update, an option will appear for it to toggle versions to AC+ to +R in the options menu.
Part 1: Arcade Achievements
Most of these Arcade specific achievements are easy to get though, although you might have to do about 2-3 (or even more playthroughs of arcade unless you know what you’re doing), since 1 requires you to simply clear it, another which requires the use of a couple Overdrive/IK finishes, and the last one to complete it on the Maniac Difficulty.
Part 2: Medal of Millionaire Achievements
Medal of Millionaire is a Score Attack-esqe mode with survival mixed in, one loss and you have to do it over, although, at least, you don’t fight everyone, there are 21 fights in M.O.M (22 if you do a certain amount of OD finishes to trigger Order-Sol.)
Part 3: Versus Achievements
The versus achievements ones are also pretty simple yet short to earn, although beating the CPU in Maniac will take a while. And also another problem if you don’t have a 2nd controller ready.
Part 4: Survival Achievements
Survival (and also Classic Survival) is a 1 fall mode where you have to go through 1000 “Levels” of fighting; each attack, combo, etc, raises the Survival by 1 (or more with perks), each 20 levels will be “Daredevil” fights in which fight levels 20-500 will be “Dark” characters with unlimited tension while fights 620-1000 will be “Gold” character fights which will be stronger versions of themselves (think “Unlimited” forms from BB and P4A), of course though, it starts out easy, but it gets harder later. Non-Classic Survival mode is kinda like Abyss mode from BB with the stat system and such, but Classic Survival (while holding in main menu when highlighting survival) is just plain survival without the stats, and a bit harder though…
Part 5: Story Achievements
Story in AC+ is kind of your typical text based (like P4A in a sense) Story mode, but this takes place after the events of #Reload, which also introduces a new villain in the story, Crow. For getting all the stories complete and their branching paths, refer to “And to the Introduction”.
Part 6: Mission Achievements
The missions in this game are not like the “Challenge” mode ones where you do character combos like in BB and P4A, but pretty much beat opponents or time them off with specific objectives to beat (Such as IK or Beating a “Gold” opponent). Of course they’re a bit easy to do with Justice (when unlocked).
Part 7: Network/Online Achievements
Getting all of the online achievements are pretty easy, but timely, since due to it being typical ASW, you have to do win a match in both Ranked/Player matches, then play 100 matches in each of them in both modes, and lastly, getting 10 wins in a row in ranked, which is easy in itself, but wonky due to the Ranked Match infrastructure/matchmaking. A boosting partner is recommended.
Part 8: Miscellaneous Achievements
Most of these Misc. Achievements can be done at any time, although rather, some of these will probably be the last to do, more specifically, the “Perfectionist” achievement, which will be a feat in itself, the rest of them are easy enough to do though, although given at a certain amount of time.
Conclusion
For fans of Blazblue, Arcana Heart and/or Persona 4 Arena alike, nothing beats one of Arc System Works' finest (and first made) fighters, with all its catchy heavy metal and other specific references to music, getting the 400 in this is no easy feat, it takes skill and determination to get this done, so until then…Let’s Rock!
