Intro
Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus is is the 4th revision/update to the GGX2 franchise which makes it more like SFII in terms of updates, new moves and other stuff, it also includes a new storyline and the return of Kliff and Justice, since their absence from non-plus. New Missions and 2 versions of Survival and a new Gallery. There will also be a 5th revision/update (in a form of a patch and free required DLC) called GGACP+R which will make more improvements and changes in the game and make both Kliff/Justice nerfed and tourney legal.

Controls and How to Play: https://bit.ly/V7fd1v

Personal Button Layout: -Punch, -Kick, -Slash, -Heavy Slash, -Dust,-Respect, -Burst, -IK Mode (Change it in controller settings.)

Universal Moves Layout:

Double Jump/Hi-Jump: (x2) for DJ (triple for Chipp), , for Hi-Jump
Dash/Run/Etc: and/or twice.
Recovery: Hold any button while in air after getting hit from certain attacks.

Force Break: Directional inputs + (Consumes 25% Tension, more if used in a FB combo special.)

Faultless Defense: Any 2 buttons and except + (Simul.) and Dust, green barrier will shield you from any Special/Overdrive damage. (Consumes Tension and slowly decreases, faster though when attacked.)

Slashback: + and Simultaneously, will quickly show a yellow flash to parry attacks. (Consumes Tension)

Dead Angle: During guard, press any 2 buttons, this will counter-attack the opponent if close. (Consumes 50% Tension)

Burst: Dust+Any Atk (or ), in certain situations, using Gold Burst if hit on opponent will completely fill your Tension Gauge 100%, using Burst when attacked, guard, comboed, etc, will be blue, only best used if the opponent tries to have the upper hand. (Depletes Burst Gauge fully if Blue, partial if Gold.)

Roman Cancel: Any 3 attack buttons during a combo, flashes red, and then you can continue to cancel your combo into another continuous string of combos. (Consumes 50% Tension)

False Roman Cancel: Same as R.C. but sometimes a harder way to cancel certain special moves during their active frames towards a combo, also, the flash is blue instead of red. (Consumes 25% Tension)

Negative Penalty: Drains your entire tension meter if you play defensively too much and not attack. This also slowly gains a real short amount of meter until a certain amount of time passes to fill it back up normally.

Instant Kill: +++ simul. (or ) except dust, changes to IK gauge, then perform , (x2)+ (May, Dizzy and Non-EX Order Sol have different inputs), as the name implies, it’s a 1-hit KO, regardless of health, and should only be used as a last resort. If missed, you’ll lose the Tension gauge for the entire round until the next round.

Before starting to get every other achievement (besides the easy ones), it is in my best interest to unlock Justice (after clearing 10 missions), cause this will help you in doing...

The Justice Method:
Because mostly Justice (for now) is really the best character to go for most, if not all modes, all you have to do is really spam a couple times, then , then , and do ,,+ as a bread and butter.

Then her overdrives come into play as well:

Imperial Ray (50% Tension), upwards laser super, best used close: ,,,+
Micheal Blade (50% Tension), Full Ground Super: ,,,+
Gamma Ray (100% Tension), Full Screen Beam Super: ,,,,,+

Note: AC+ version of Justice can be usable in the +R update, an option will appear for it to toggle versions to AC+ to +R in the options menu.

Part 1: Arcade Achievements
Most of these Arcade specific achievements are easy to get though, although you might have to do about 2-3 (or even more playthroughs of arcade unless you know what you’re doing), since 1 requires you to simply clear it, another which requires the use of a couple Overdrive/IK finishes, and the last one to complete it on the Maniac Difficulty.

Part 2: Medal of Millionaire Achievements
Medal of Millionaire is a Score Attack-esqe mode with survival mixed in, one loss and you have to do it over, although, at least, you don’t fight everyone, there are 21 fights in M.O.M (22 if you do a certain amount of OD finishes to trigger Order-Sol.)

Part 3: Versus Achievements
The versus achievements ones are also pretty simple yet short to earn, although beating the CPU in Maniac will take a while. And also another problem if you don’t have a 2nd controller ready.

Part 4: Survival Achievements
Survival (and also Classic Survival) is a 1 fall mode where you have to go through 1000 “Levels” of fighting; each attack, combo, etc, raises the Survival by 1 (or more with perks), each 20 levels will be “Daredevil” fights in which fight levels 20-500 will be “Dark” characters with unlimited tension while fights 620-1000 will be “Gold” character fights which will be stronger versions of themselves (think “Unlimited” forms from BB and P4A), of course though, it starts out easy, but it gets harder later. Non-Classic Survival mode is kinda like Abyss mode from BB with the stat system and such, but Classic Survival (while holding in main menu when highlighting survival) is just plain survival without the stats, and a bit harder though…

Part 5: Story Achievements
Story in AC+ is kind of your typical text based (like P4A in a sense) Story mode, but this takes place after the events of #Reload, which also introduces a new villain in the story, Crow. For getting all the stories complete and their branching paths, refer to “And to the Introduction”.

Part 6: Mission Achievements
The missions in this game are not like the “Challenge” mode ones where you do character combos like in BB and P4A, but pretty much beat opponents or time them off with specific objectives to beat (Such as IK or Beating a “Gold” opponent). Of course they’re a bit easy to do with Justice (when unlocked).

Part 7: Network/Online Achievements
Getting all of the online achievements are pretty easy, but timely, since due to it being typical ASW, you have to do win a match in both Ranked/Player matches, then play 100 matches in each of them in both modes, and lastly, getting 10 wins in a row in ranked, which is easy in itself, but wonky due to the Ranked Match infrastructure/matchmaking. A boosting partner is recommended.

Part 8: Miscellaneous Achievements
Most of these Misc. Achievements can be done at any time, although rather, some of these will probably be the last to do, more specifically, the “Perfectionist” achievement, which will be a feat in itself, the rest of them are easy enough to do though, although given at a certain amount of time.

Conclusion
For fans of Blazblue, Arcana Heart and/or Persona 4 Arena alike, nothing beats one of Arc System Works' finest (and first made) fighters, with all its catchy heavy metal and other specific references to music, getting the 400 in this is no easy feat, it takes skill and determination to get this done, so until then…Let’s Rock!

There are 30 achievements with a total of 400 points

  • [Arcade] Completed.

Best set the difficulty to Beginner in 1 round setting and make sure the timer is on infinite, since getting a time over will not unlock it. Note that I-No cannot be defeated easily with Instant Kills and must be defeated normally.

She will also perform her Megalomania super 3 times every time you deplete a 1/3'd of her health, and you can avoid them in 3 ways. (Warning Squares)

    Fullscreen: Double Jump
Upward Arc: All the way back, then duck.
Wave: When fired, move slightly forward without hitting the heart balls.

  • [Arcade] Order Sol defeated.

Order Sol is a Secret/Hidden boss that must be activated by performing a specific amount of Overdrive/Super finishes (IK’s count too.), of course, you must defeat I-No first in order for that to happen. Although there’s a slight problem…Order Sol is in his “Gold” status and is a bit stronger.

Of course if you’re having trouble beating him (since you cannot continue on him, since it’s always a 1-shot battle, except pressing start will save you over and over), just wait and unlock the Dark/Gold forms after completing a char’s story mode, that, or you can risk it since O-Sol can be IK’d, but you can do the second player trick over and over if you have problems, best set on beginner difficulty with 1 round.

  • [Arcade] Completed in difficulty level MANIAC

Best set the rounds to 1, and the time to infinite, MANIAC is the hardest difficulty (contrast and no pun intended to Hell in BB and P4A), of course this will stack with Arcade Completed and Flame Distortion, given the skill needed to do it. It’s best if you use your best character and use a Gold Burst to fill up the tension gauge [or Gold Johnny if you did both his story paths, which makes his “Mist Finers” (, then either //), 1-hit KO’s, highlight him, hit x2, then x1]. Of course it’s a bit harder to finish, but this can be done easily given the right situations.

  • [M.O.M] Completed.

Medal of Millionaire is a 1-fall survival-esqe Score Attack mode, where the purpose is to score a lot of points. The bar in the bottom of the screen is the medal bar, which will grow rapidly with successful hits and combos, which will in turn grow into bigger medals, of course though, if you hit “Fever Penalty” the medals will shrink back to small and start refilling. Of course if you do it this way, you’ll earn heath items, which will be the key to survival. Best used with Justice.

  • [M.O.M] Order Sol defeated and completed.

Order Sol is the 22nd and last character to fight in M.O.M, but you must trigger it first by performing a certain amount of OD finishes (the actual number is unknown though). Once you beat I-no, then you’ll meet O-Sol in his stronger “Gold/Boss” form. Justice is best used for this mode.

Refer to "The Justice Method" since its useful in beating O-Sol.

  • [VS 2P] Battled offline.

This requires a second controller; just pick any character and a stage. It should come up before the fight starts.

  • [VS CPU] Won against CPU on difficulty level MANIAC.

Set the difficulty to Maniac, then select anyone (or Gold Johnny and his Mist Finer [, then either //]), then perform the instant kill motion after pressing mapped as all 4 buttons, then press , (x2) and . Note: You may miss the IK a couple times, and if it doesn’t work go back to character select screen and try again over and over until you get it.

  • [Survival] First intrusion occurred.

This will appear once you hit Survival Lv. 20, “Daredevils”, or rather, Dark versions of characters with unlimited tension/super meter.

  • [Survival] Attained lv. 999 and defeated Gold Order Sol.

Order Sol is the last Character to fight in either survival mode. Make sure you have most of your skills on/or near max and the possible equips "Vampire Form", "Sheer Heart Attack", and something/anything else equipped. Best bet is to use Justice if you have her unlocked (clear 10 missions) and get it done, of course it will take a while though.

  • [Survival] Selected Time Traveling skill 3 times in a row.

You can only do this in Non-Classic Survival, and you must beat Gold Axl (Survival Level 860) 3 times while selecting the Time Traveling skill which will send you back an unprecedented amount of back survival leveling to earn more skill points towards your character.

  • [Survival] Equipped skills Berserk Mode and Limit Break and completed.

This can only be done in Non-Classic Survival, in which you have to have these 2 equips at all times until you clear survival, the trouble with that is it makes survival a bit harder, case in point.

Berserk Mode = Triples the damage you do to opponent, but "poisons" you as an ailment (drains health every second).

Limit Break = Makes the opponent's guard gauge at max, which means anytime counter damage, but in return, you cannot block and take double damage to yourself.

So pretty much its best to get “Limit Break” 1st (random equip), then get “Berserk Mode” 2nd from Gold A.B.A., and then if you reach far enough without losing, ”Sheer Heart Attack”, which makes your attacks unblockable to your opponent. So good luck with it. My choice would be to use Justice, but anyone else might be suitable.

  • [Survival] Classic Survival completed.

Classic Survival can be selected by highlighting Survival from the main menu then Hold (Survival will be worded in a Rose-like color). Classic Survival has the same purpose as the Non-Classic one (Reach 1000 Levels), only this time it doesn’t add the equips and stat bonus, and also a bit harder. Justice can be useful for this mode, but anyone else will do.

Refer to the Survival Mode guide here in order to understand the Non-Classic version and all of its perks. https://bit.ly/VoOYUA

  • [Training] Trained for over 10 hours.

This is fairly simple, but a long one. Go to Training Mode, select anyone, and then leave it on for 10 hours (leaving it on the pause menu will not work). Note that this is also cumulative, but best to do it straight so you don’t have to do it later in breaks. This only works better if you have either a Turbo/Wired controller ready, because doing it on a wireless one will shut off if you don’t perform any action on the controller for a certain amount of time.

  • Got all character illustrations.

In order to get all character illustrations (gallery complete), you must:

    1. Complete Arcade Mode 25 times, then again 23 times in their EX movesets (except Kliff/Justice, which don't have an EX moveset)
    2. Complete all 30 Missions
    3. Complete everyone's Story and their paths (All characters except O-Sol, Kliff and Justice have 2 paths)
    4. Get all 19 Special Illustrations (That includes clearing Survival Mode and its 1000 levels, and more other ridiculous requirements.)
    5. Get all 7 Secret Voice interviews (which are only done by time release, probably hourly)

  • [Mission] Completed 5 mission with any character.

Simply complete 5 mission with anyone, there are descriptions below under “Quit” that will tell you the objective of the Mission. They are really easy though.

  • [Mission] Completed all missions with any character.

You must complete 30 "Missions" with any character, preferably use Justice (when unlocked) as it will make things a bit easier, since it’s not rather difficult and there will be mission prompts before starting like defeat an opponent with Instant Kill to facing a series of "Gold" type characters.

Refer to Setsuna's Mission Mode Guide over at PS3T for quick analysis (since its pretty much the same thing for both versions).

  • [Story] Saw one ending.

Just complete any characters’ Story in Story Mode, easier to complete with either Order Sol, Kliff, or Justice, since they only have 1 linear path to complete.

  • [Story] Saw all endings.

In order to get all the story based endings and illustrations, you must complete it with every character. If you don't feel like reading the story and want to get to it quicker, just press start to quickly skip text in and after every match.

All characters, except Order Sol, Kliff and Justice, have 2 story paths to clear while the other 3 only have one. In order to get them, you'll have to do certain pre-requisites though, such as text based decisions, perform an IK with a certain character, and so on. A guide on getting all the endings can be found here:

    bit.ly/tLDwAX

  • [Ranked Match] First victory attained.

Pretty much win your first online match with anyone, better with a boosting partner The way matchmaking in this though is kinda wonky since there’s no “Create Match”, kind of option, you have to rather go on custom search. There are options to set rank/area/connection, but they don’t actually work properly for the time being. Then your partner should be on Quick Match. After that, search and if your partner’s name is not there, hit to keep refreshing. This works in account for the “Ky is Charging” achievement.

  • [Ranking Match] Won 10 in a row.

Refer to "Butterfly and Squall" for info. You must win 10 times in ranked without losing. This is where your boosting partner comes in. The easier way to get this done is to perform Instant Kills ( then , (x2) and ) every match as it will make things quicker/faster for the 10 straight wins.

  • [Ranking Match] 100 battles fought.

Simply play 100 matches, winning/losing doesn’t matter. Of course this may take some time yourself, but quicker with a boosting partner given the right situations in the Ranked Match infrastructure. This will unlock during your 100th match.

  • [Player Match] First victory attained.

With rounds set to 1 and with a boosting partner (and also SP chars on), either perform an Instant Kill or play as Gold Johnny (x2, then ), then perform Mist Finer (, then either //) for a 1-hit KO.

  • [Player Match] 100 battles fought.

Refer to “The goddess of defeat is finicky”. It’s pretty much the same as Slash Star, only you stay in the Lobby. Just use Gold Johnny and his Mist Finer over the course of 100 Matches for you and your partner.

  • Even with a huge difference in health, you came from behind and won.

Easier with 2 players, 1P activates IK mode with Ky, wait until health is fully drained, then perform IK mode then , (x2) and . For those without a 2nd controller, go on Mission mode and play Mission 4 and complete it.

  • You scored your first instant kill.

Easier on VS 2P, pick any character (Use Ky Kiske to make it a bit easier), press all 4 face buttons at the same time (+++) or map it to easily, then perform , (x2) and at the same time. If performed correctly, you'll see the words DESTROYED and you'll instant KO your opponent.

(Note: Everyone except May, Dizzy, and Non-EX Order Sol does not have the same notation/motion for instant kills.)

  • Successfully executed your first throw escape.

Press and at the same time the moment your opponent, or on a 2nd controller, grabs you, since it’s a 1 or 2 frame throw, it must be teched rather quickly.

  • You've fought on all stages.

In order to play on all stages, you must unlock the Slash/Reload Versions of them first in Story Mode as well by completing it fully with everyone. Once unlocked, you can trigger either stage versions:

    Slash = Select it
Reload = Hold "Respect", stage name should be in Yellow, and then select it.

After that, there will be some more AC+ stages unlocked as well. Here's the story guide to unlock the stages, more info on all stages, later this works in any versus mode and in training.

    bitly.com/tLDwAX

  • You made contact with an alien.

The alien appears as a painting in the AC+ London Stage, not the Slash/Reload one. Just go in on VS CPU/2P, select either Axl/Millia and the stage will be there to select quickly. Note, the odds of having the man having a painting of the alien are random, so go to character select, rinse and repeat and you'll get it.

  • You threw a chikuwa and dumbbell at your opponent.

This can be earned rather easily by playing EX Chipp (highlight him then press start, then , and any button, that's if you have EX forms unlocked, or rather the extra modes unlocked after completing all 30 missions for infinite tension to be available.)

Then perform his air shuriken overdrive, with , (x2) and while jumping. The odds of it appear are random. Best probably done in VS CPU/2P so that you have unlimited super gauge (either in Dark EX form or with the "Extra" mode changes) at the ready.

  • Game started.

This is pretty much a gimmie achievement when you start the game for the first time and selecting your storage to save new game data. In other words, there’s no going back and removing it from your history unless you exit to the dashboard immediately.
