This game can be rather challenging as you are required to play through all three campaigns on the highest difficulty, as well as completing bonus objectives, some of which make the game more difficult. Some of this difficulty is eliminated as you can play the whole game online with a Co-Op partner.
Introduction:
Welcome to the Red Alert 3 Road Map. All of the single player achievements for this game can be completed in one playthrough and ALL of the online achievements can be boosted. There are no serious glitches in this game.
Step #1: Storyline Playthrough
If you want to get all of the achievements in one playthrough you will need to have an online partner to play through all of the levels with you in Co-Op, and you will need to play the game through on Hard and complete all of the bonus objectives on each mission. You will also need to complete the tutorial, but this can be completed at anytime.
If you’re looking for a Co-Op partner post here (LINK).
Once you're set up just play through the game, and make sure to complete all of the bonus objectives as you go. There is no way to check which bonus objective you have or haven’t completed.
Playing with the above set-up will mean that only the following three achievements can be missed:
- “The Cleaner”
- “The Closer”
- “The Conqueror”
These achievements are for completing the bonus objectives. So as long as you complete them all you will unlock all of the storyline achievements in one playthrough. If you miss any bonus objectives, or cannot complete an objective on Hard, then finish the level and replay on any difficulty, complete the bonus objective and then finish the mission.
Step #2: Skirmish Achievements
All of the following achievements must be unlocked in Skirmish mode, which is an offline multiplayer mode against AI opponents:
- “Checkmate”
- “Hell March”
- “Sole Survivor”
- “Against All Odds”
Use the Rush strategy in the achievement guide to quickly defeat any AI commander. If you are having trouble against a commander try playing them on a very small map (e.g. Snow Plow). This will make them a lot easier to defeat. NOTE: These achievements can be completed at any time, and CANNOT be missed.
Step #3: Multiplayer Achievements
All of the remaining multiplayer achievements can be completed in Skirmish mode or in online matches with a boosting partner. The guide contains strategies for unlocking the achievements online and against the AI. NOTE: These achievements can be unlocked at any time, and CANNOT be missed.
Step #4: Online Boosting
The section explains how to boost on Red Alert 3. All achievements completed online MUST be done in Ranked Matches. You cannot send invites to Ranked Matches so your boosting partner must find your match.
Before trying for these achievements you must set up an EA account to do this select “Versus” from the main menu then “Xbox LIVE.” Now follow the on screen instructions. If you already have an EA account just enter your Email and Password and continue.
To create a match return to the “Xbox LIVE” menu and select “Create Match” then set “Ranked” as the Game Type and have two Open slots and two Closed slots. Set up the match with 40,000 credits and select any map. Now wait for your partner to join. If anyone else joins quit the match and start again.
To find your partners match select “Custom Match” from the “Xbox LIVE” menu and then search for a Ranked game Type with 2 Players. Continuing will place you in a game with the settings you specified, press back and search again until you are in the game with your partner.
Once again, if you are looking for someone to boost with, post here (LINK).
Conclusion:
Overall this game is difficult but possible as all three campaigns can be played in Co-Op, and all of the online achievements can be boosted. For the skirmish games use the Rush strategy posted in the achievement guide to quickly defeat any of the enemy commanders on almost any map. If you're having trouble with any of the multiplayer achievements boost them with someone from the site.
