Introduction:
In Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, you assume the role of Private Jack Mitchell, a marine who is working for the Atlas Corporation. The Atlas Corporation has experienced a meteoric rise to power under the control of its CEO, Jonathan Irons (Kevin Spacey). Originally a mercenary-for-hire company, things changed dramatically when Irons acquired the largest bioengineering R&D firm in the world and spurred the development of advanced soldier exoskeleton technology. Atlas deploys a proprietary combination of state of the art training and advanced military technology, and maintains the largest standing army in the world. With unmatched resources and no citizens to fear, Atlas has changed the face of war and the definition of power, becoming a lethal and effective asset to any country or cause that could afford them.

Step 1 - Campaign Veteran Difficulty:
There are a total of 15 missions in the campaign. Veteran is the hardest difficulty but is not very hard at all, so I recommend that you play your first playthrough on veteran if you want to save time as it is unlocked right from the start and the difficulties stack. Some missions have an achievement for doing something specific during that mission, which are all relatively easy to unlock during your first playthrough if you know what to look for. Take a look to see if there is an achievement for that mission before you play it.

There are three Intel collectables per mission and you can track what you have collected them from the mission select screen. Also something to work on in this step are the Exo challenges. Completing these will earn you points to upgrade your abilities on your Exo suit. As long as you don’t start a new game, your abilities will stay with you throughout your subsequent playthroughs. Refer to “Power Changes Everything” for more information.

Step 2 - Mop Up:
For anything you may have missed during your initial playthrough you can complete here, whether it’s a mission-specific achievement, collecting Intel or killing X with X a certain number of times. Select the mission suggested in the guide for the simplest way to obtain these. If you just need to collect Intel in a mission, after you acquire it, you can just ‘Save and Quit’ as it saves immediately.

You may also need to complete your Exo challenges at this point, specifically the kill requirements. The missions ‘Fission’ and ‘Terminal’ yield a lot of enemies. Just remember, to save your kills, you have to complete the mission.

Playing this step on recruit will make this much easier on you.

Step 3 - Exo-Survival:
Exo-Survival is a game mode in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare that is very similar to Survival from Modern Warfare 3. In this mode, you fight waves of enemies that get increasingly difficult the longer you play. As you play, you can upgrade your weapons and Exo suit to make it easier on you. The achievements in this mode are not too troublesome to unlock if you are playing with a good team. These can be done solo, but flipping a map twice and surviving the bonus wave will be difficult if you are not playing with others. Play through it and enjoy yourself.

Havoc DLC
(Full G&RM Found Here)

Exo Zombies:
The four main characters are Oz (John Malkovich), Lilith (Rose McGowan), Decker (Jon Bernthal), and Mr. Kahn (Bill Paxton). The game is based on rounds, with difficulty increasing per round. Players earn credits by killing zombies and reviving other players. Weapons are gotten via the 3D printer throughout the map. Exo upgrades are similar to perks and help you against zombies.

Training Zombies:
The term "training" is used when a person is using the tactic to gather many zombies together. Most trains go in some type of circle. With the new edition of the exo suit training has become much easier to do because of exo jumping. Some good areas to do it on the new map is at spawn, as well as the room where the exo suit is obtained.

Overall Conclusion:
This is one of the easier Call of Duty games to complete. The campaign story and gameplay is one of the better ones in recent years. It is pretty straightforward and the achievements aren’t too challenging. It is reasonable to say that you will unlock most of the campaign achievements in your initial playthrough and only need to replay a few missions to mop up. And by playing Exo Survival with a good team, you’ll have 1000 in this game in no time.

There are 90 achievements with a total of 2000 points

  • Prevent the walking tank from being destroyed by the Drone Swarm in "Induction."

This is unlocked in Mission 1, ‘Induction.’

Early on in this mission, after meeting with your team, you fight your way down the street. At the far end of the street is a walking tank. When you have killed all the ground enemies, a swarm of drones will appear overhead. Run to the tank and hold  to enter it. The objective here is to destroy as many drones as possible with  while the EMP charges.

When there are about 300 drones left, the EMP will be fully charged. Press  to activate it, destroying the remaining drones and unlocking the achievement.

  • Score "excellent" in the shooting range in "Atlas."

This is unlocked in Mission 2, ‘Atlas.’

During this mission, as you are getting a tour of the facility, you will stop at the shooting range. Your goal here is to get an ‘Excellent’ score, which is 2,000 points or above.

Pick up two guns from the rack at the back of the room and step up to the range. Your objective is to hit only the red targets; headshots are 100 points and body shots are either 50 or 75 points. As the stages increase, the targets become more difficult to hit. It is possible to miss a few targets but still achieve your goal, but always aim for headshots. Word of advice; when the game tells you to activate Overdrive, do it. It slows down the targets considerably which allows you to hit more. If you don’t, there really isn’t a way to get a score high enough to unlock the achievement.

At the end of the course, you will be told whether you did Poor, Average, Good or Excellent. If you hear ‘Excellent,’ the achievement will unlock. If not, just keep rerunning the course until you do.

  • Score "excellent" in the grenade range in "Atlas."

This is unlocked in Mission 2, ‘Atlas.’

During this mission, after stopping at the shooting range, your next stop will be the grenade range. Again, your goal here is to get an ‘Excellent’ score, which is 1,600 points or above.

To do this, use the smart grenades to take out the boards with the red grenade image on them and use EMP grenades to destroy the drones. It can take some practice to know which order the targets arrive in, but they follow the same exact pattern every time you run the course. At the end of the course, you will be told whether you did Poor, Average, Good or Excellent. If you hear ‘Excellent’, the achievement will unlock. If not, just keep rerunning the course until you do.

Note: This is an excellent spot if you want to unlock “Fly Swatter” or complete the Exo challenge for grenade kills.

  • Kill all the KVA in the traffic section without damaging a civilian vehicle in "Traffic."

This is unlocked in Mission 3, ‘Traffic.’

Towards the end of this mission, you will arrive at a roadway with traffic going in both directions. On the center median there are about five enemies, then on the far side are about five more enemies and a couple of dogs.

Once you reach the center median you can tackle this one of two ways; shoot the enemies parallel to the road as to not hit any vehicles or melee them. Meleeing them without a shield on a higher difficulty will probably result in death, so either activate your riot shield () to melee them or shoot them very carefully. Sometimes a checkpoint is triggered when you’ve killed everyone in the center median. If you even remotely think you’ve possibly shot a vehicle, reload the checkpoint immediately. If you don’t and you have somehow managed to shoot a vehicle, you will have to replay the entire mission.

When you are confident you haven’t hit a civilian vehicle, cross the street again to the far side, staying to the left. Here it is much easier to shoot parallel to the street. At one end, just shoot down the sidewalk at the enemies. It might be helpful to activate your Overdrive to make this even easier. Again, if you think you may have hit a vehicle, reload the checkpoint.

Once you have killed everyone, another checkpoint will trigger. Follow Gideon to the fence and press  to mantle up. If you haven’t hit any vehicles, the achievement will unlock at this point. If it doesn’t, you have to replay the entire mission.

    Thanks to Maka91Productions:

  • Kill 10 enemies with the Mobile Turret missiles in "Fission."

This is unlocked in Mission 4, ‘Fission.’

At the start of this mission, after you zipline to the ground, ahead of you on the left will be a Mobile Defense Turret tank. Hold  to get into it. Once you have control, hold  to lock onto your targets. When the white diamonds appear, release  to fire your missiles. You can move around to avoid grenades or get a better angle on a target. Repeat this until you have killed 10 enemies and unlocked the achievement.

    Thanks to PowerPyx:

  • Finish the hoverbike drive hitting no walls or obstacles and taking no damage in "Aftermath."

This is unlocked in Mission 5, ‘Aftermath.’

At the end of the mission, you will have to escape on hover-bikes and get the doctor back to your base.

During this sequence, you cannot take any damage or hit anything with your hover bike, which includes walls, signs, pylons or boxes. Be careful when going around curves as there may be something in the way that will make you swerve and possibly hit a wall. There are a few rockets that you need to avoid as well as a helicopter while on the train tracks. There are a couple of areas where you are being shot at by a helicopter, but that’s mainly for show to make the environment more active. As long as you keep Gideon in your sights, you shouldn’t have any issue completing this.

Note: There are about four checkpoints triggered during this sequence. If for any reason you think you may have hit something, anything at all, immediately reload the checkpoint. If you finish the sequence to find you have hit something, you have to replay the entire mission.

    Thanks to PS4Trophies:

  • Kill 3 enemies with one shot of the Sniper Drone in "Manhunt."

This is unlocked in Mission 6, ‘Manhunt.’

During this mission, after you put on your Exo suit, you take control of a WASP sniper drone to assist your teammates in capturing Hades. When you fly over to the target building, there are at least three places to get a triple kill with one bullet.

The first opportunity is when your team exits the van. After shooting the enemy outside the van, there will be two enemies in the courtyard behind the closed gate. You just need to fly low and line them up and wait for the third enemy to walk in line with them. If you do not get a triple kill, you can reload checkpoint.

Maka91Productions has provided a video showing the second and third opportunities to unlock this achievement.

  • Kill 20 enemies with the Grappling Hook in "Sentinel."

This is unlocked in Mission 8, ‘Sentinel.’

Throughout this mission, one of your abilities is the Grapple. You can use this ability to grapple and pull yourself up to ledges, roofs and balconies and also to grapple and stealth kill enemies. You’re able to use the grapple when you see the  prompt on screen.

There are about 30 enemies during this mission. To tag enemies and drones, aim at them with . The first section is not too bad as there are only one or two drones around, but the second section is a lot more open with a lot more drones. If your meter starts to fill up, hide immediately. If it fills up all the way, you will be detected and your mission will fail, so it is required that you use stealth throughout this entire mission. Stealth kill only when no one is looking your way and make certain your kill is hidden as drones can detect dead bodies as well.

As it would be very difficult to explain where to kill 20 enemies, PS4Trophies has provided a video. If you follow that general path, you will unlock this achievement with relative ease.

  • EMP 10 enemy aircraft out of the sky with the hovertank in "Bio Lab."

This is unlocked in Mission 10, ‘Bio Lab.’

At the end of this mission, you will take control of a hover tank. To get this achievement, you will need to destroy ten enemy aircraft with the EMP. There are a couple more than ten, so you can miss one and still get the achievement.

The hover tank has three fire modes:  for missiles,  for cannons and  for EMP. Press  after selecting one to fire. Use your missiles to destroy the tanks and trucks and the cannons to kill the foot soldiers. As you progress, you will hear an aircraft approaching, so switch to your EMP. Luckily, your teammate calls these out to you, so be sure and listen to what they are saying. It takes one hit to destroy a helicopter and up to three to destroy a Warbird. Make sure you are quick to fire, because if you miss one or two, you have to restart the checkpoint.

Keep a mental note of how many aircraft you’ve destroyed. There is a checkpoint when you reach approximately 240m from the LZ. At that point, you should have five or six aircraft destroyed. If you don’t, restart the checkpoint before you get to that location or else you will have to play the entire mission over.

PS4Trophies has provided a video showing where the aircraft are. The checkpoint is at around 2:50.

  • Melee an enemy so they fly off the side of the ship in "Armada."

This is unlocked in Mission 12, ‘Armada.’

During this mission, after the night vision section, you come back outside onto the deck of the ship. Run to the edge in front of you where the yellow smoke is and wait for a helicopter to bring in more reinforcements. One of the enemies uses a zipline from the helicopter and will land on the edge of the ship behind a container. Melee him to make him fly off the side of the ship. If you miss this opportunity, either restart the checkpoint or lure another enemy close to the edge.

    Thanks to Maka91Productions:

  • Shoot down 10 enemies with machine guns in "Throttle."

This is unlocked in Mission 13, ‘Throttle.’

Right at the beginning of this mission, you will be piloting a jet. As you fly through the canyon, all you have to do is aim at the enemies and shoot with the machine guns by continuously holding . They are highlighted with a red hexagon. Press  frequently to activate your air brakes to slow down, but do not press  to use your afterburners or  to use your missiles at all. If you reach the end without shooting down 10 enemies, you can restart the checkpoint or mission.

    Thanks to Maka91Productions:

  • Go through 20 gun drops in one-armed combat in "Captured."

This is unlocked in Mission 14, ‘Captured.’

As you’re escaping the Atlas facility with Gideon, you will only have use of one arm. This achievement is simple; since you can’t reload a weapon, you need to pick up 20 different weapons during your escape. As you kill each enemy, pick up their weapon and then use that to kill the next enemy, and so on. Picking up every weapon you see on the floor and on the walls will add to the total number. You don’t even have to fire the weapon for it to count.

Keep doing this and eventually you will emerge topside. You need to have picked up 20 different weapons by the time you reach the Warbird. If you are picking up every weapon you see, you should have no trouble unlocking this achievement.

    Thanks to Maka91Productions:

  • Play 50 Exo Survival Matches.

    (6)

To unlock this achievement, simply play 50 Exo Survival matches in local, private or public lobbies, solo or with a team. This is matches, not rounds. To count as one match played, you (and your team if playing online) must have died and returned to the lobby. Do this 50 times and the achievement will unlock.

If you want to get this out of the way quickly, there are three methods:

    • Start a solo match and just stand there. Eventually enemies will come to shoot you. When you are downed the first time, you will automatically be revived, but the second time you lose all your health, you are eliminated. This takes about two minutes per match.
    • Start a solo match on the map “Bio Lab”. When the countdown is complete, run through the map to locate an area outside where you can jump off and basically suicide. This can take about a minute from start to finish.
    • Start a solo match on a map of your choosing. Select an Exo class then immediately quit the match. This counts as one match played.
  • Successfully Complete the Exo Survival Bonus Wave.

    (30)

The zombie bonus wave is on the Tier 4 map “Riot.” You must first survive 10 rounds on this map in order to play the bonus wave. Then you (and your team if playing online) must complete the bonus wave to unlock this achievement.

To unlock “Riot,” you need to have unlocked Tier 3 and then have survived 100 rounds in total on those maps. However, if a friend has unlocked the “Riot” map, they can invite you into their game and you can play on the map which is a quicker way of achieving this. These are the requirements to unlock the tiers of maps:

    Tier 1 Maps (Default)
    - Bio Lab
    - Retreat
    - Detroit
    - Ascend

Tier 2 Maps (Play 50 Rounds on Tier 1 Maps to unlock this Tier)
    - Horizon
    - Comeback
    - Terrace
    - Instinct

Tier 3 Maps (Play 75 Rounds on Tier 2 maps to unlock this Tier)
    - Greenband
    - Solar
    - Recovery
    - Defender

Tier 4 Map (Play 100 Rounds on Tier 3 maps to unlock this Tier)
    - Riot

  • Play 30 minutes with each class online in Exo Survival.

In Exo Survival, there a three classes to choose from. To unlock this achievement, you need to play for 30 minutes with each of them.

    • Light Exo - light armor, boost and dash abilities, assault rifles, SMG’s, fast movement, UAV scorestreak.
    • Heavy Exo - heavy armor, boost ability, LMG’s, energy weapons, slow movement, Goliath scorestreak.
    • Specialist Exo - normal armor, boost ability, shotguns, sniper rifles, normal movement, Sentry Gun scorestreak.

When you start an Exo Survival match, you can select which class you want to use. As you are playing, you can change this class any time by finding the Exo Upgrade Station, accessing it and changing your class.

The achievement will unlock at the end of the match you are playing once you pass 30 minutes with the last class. There is no in-game timer to show you how long you’ve played with each class, so you’ll have to keep track yourself.

You need to play in either the private or public match lobbies; time will not accumulate if you play this mode in local play. So for this, you need to be online and connected to Xbox Live.

  • “Flip” a map.

    (7)

To unlock the achievement, you need to complete through round 25 on any Exo Survival map. While this resets you back to round 1, you keep all your weapons, perks and upgrades. However, the enemies are now stronger and take more hits to kill.

As it is counting down to play round 1 the second time, the achievement will unlock. Refer to “Flip Flop” for more information.

  • "Flip" a map twice.

    (37)

To unlock this achievement, you must flip a map twice in one match of Exo-Survival; survive through round 25, flip the map, then survive through round 25 again.

It is suggested that you play with at least one other person, but a complete team of four players is recommended. Teamwork and communication is key to surviving. Using your basic survival skills, depending on which map and Exo class you choose, you can either camp in a certain area or keep moving around. Remember to upgrade your Exo suit and weapons whenever you have a chance as it will make this much easier. You can find other players in the Official XBA Boosting Session Information & Discussion thread.

As it is counting down to play round 1 a third time, the achievement will unlock.

  • Carma

    10

Kill an enemy by throwing a car door at them.

You can do this at any point of the game where there is a car that you can remove the door from by holding . You then need to walk up to and enemy and click  to throw it at them.

The first opportunity to do this is in the Mission 1, ‘Induction.’ After you defend against the swarm in the walking tank (refer to “Not on my Watch”), do not advance to the ‘Follow’ waypoint just yet. Turn around and head back down the street from where you came for about 20 meters and you will see a car with its door open. Walk up to this door and hold  to pry it off. Then walk towards the waypoint and you will enter a hotel lobby. Enemies will zipline down into the lobby, and when one runs towards you, push down  to throw the door, unlocking the achievement.

Note: You must kill the enemy for the achievement to unlock. It might be better to wait until your teammates have injured an enemy and then throw the door at them. If you throw the door and the enemy isn’t killed, just reload the checkpoint as you cannot pick the door up again. Or, attempt this on the Recruit difficulty.

PowerPyx has provided a video showing this done during Mission 1, ‘Induction.’

  • Complete the campaign on any difficulty.

Refer to “SP Prestige” for more information.

  • Complete the campaign on Hardened difficulty.

Refer to “SP Prestige” for more information.

  • Complete the campaign on Veteran difficulty.

Veteran difficulty is available to you immediately, so to save you some time, play through the game on this highest difficulty. Veteran is not difficult at all compared to earlier Call of Duty games highest difficulty, even if you are uninitiated in playing Call of Duty games. If you play smart, your deaths will be minimal.

    Some things to remember:

    • If you are injured, use cover or go prone if necessary until you are fully recovered.
    • Play smartly and don’t run and gun. This will surely get you killed.
    • Take your time. This game doesn’t have unlimited spawns, but there may be a few areas where you simply can’t advance. Make sure you clear out the majority of the enemies before moving up.
    • Use your grenades. If you think enemies are plenty, use your Threat grenade to make them easier to target. Also, flashing or stunning enemies will give you the advantage in tough situations. If you find enemies bunched up, throw a Smart grenade to clear them out.
    • When not in combat, always remember to reload your weapon.
  • Boost jump, dash forward, then air stomp on an enemy.

This can be done on any mission where you have the Assault Exo suit, which is as early as Mission 1, ‘Induction.’ You can also get this on the missions ‘Fission’, ‘Crash’, ‘Collapse’, ‘Armada’ or ‘Throttle.’

While you are wearing this Exo suit, double jump into the air by pressing  to jump then pressing  again almost immediately while still in the air, then click  down and forward (at the same time) to dash and then press  to stomp (depending on your controller layout) when you’re above an enemy. It might take a little to get the timing down, but keep trying. This is best done on the recruit difficulty.

  • Avoid 20 grenades by dodging with your exo.

Note: This has to be done with a grenade thrown by an enemy; you cannot dodge your own grenade. This can also be done with either Exo suit as they both have the dash ability.

At any point in the campaign when a grenade is thrown near you, there will be an indicator arrow for where the grenade landed. If you see the icon, you are in its blast radius and will take damage based on how close to the grenade you are. When you see this, click  down and in any direction (at the same time) to dodge away from the grenade. You must safely dodge out of the blast radius for it to count. Do this 20 times to unlock the achievement. If you are quick enough, you can do this multiple times with the same grenade.

If you’ve upgraded your ‘Detection’ Exo ability, a circle will also appear around the grenade; green for outside the blast radius and red for inside. If it is green, walk towards the grenade until the circle turns red then dodge out of the way. Rinse and repeat.

If you haven’t gotten this by the time you’ve completed the campaign, load up Mission 4, ‘Fission’, and after you are on the street, there will be a lot of enemies throwing grenades. Reload the checkpoint as necessary. Other missions to get this in are ‘Collapse’ and ‘Armada.’

  • Kill 10 enemies or drones while affected by a sonic blast.

This can be done on any mission where you have the Assault Exo suit, which is as early as Mission 1, ‘Induction’. You can also get this on the missions ‘Fission’, ‘Crash’, ‘Collapse’, ‘Armada’ or ‘Throttle.’

While you are wearing this Exo suit, whenever you encounter a large group of enemies, run up to them and press  to send out a sonic blast. You will hear a ‘whomp’ sound indicating that it’s active. Kill as many enemies or drones while they are affected by the blast until it runs out. You can either reload the checkpoint to kill the same enemies again or wait until it recharges and do it again. You also must have battery available in your Exo suit to do this. Once you’ve killed 10 enemies under the blast effects, the achievement will unlock.

  • Kill 50 enemies while using Overdrive.

This can be done on any mission where you have the Specialist Exo suit, which is as early as Mission 2, ‘Atlas’. You can also get this on the missions ‘Traffic,’ ‘Aftermath,’ ‘Manhunt,' ‘Utopia,’ ‘Sentinel’ or ‘Bio Lab.’

While you are wearing this Exo suit, you will have Overdrive ability, which slows enemies down, making them easier to kill. Press  to enable Overdrive and then shoot as many enemies as you can while it is active. Kill 50 enemies while using this ability to unlock the achievement.

  • Genius

    10

Kill 4 enemies with a single smart grenade.

To use a smart grenade, press . This can really be done in any mission when a group of enemies is huddled together. You will have many opportunities to unlock this achievement, possibly doing so without even trying.

PS4Trophies has provided a video showing this done about halfway through Mission 1, ‘Induction.’

  • Paint 10 enemies with a single threat grenade.

This can be done as early as Mission 1, ‘Induction.’

During the first mission, after you take care of the drone swarm (refer to “Not on my Watch”), you will enter a building and enemies will start ziplining in (a button tutorial on how to boost dodge will appear on your screen). Take out the first five or so enemies at the top of the stairs, then around the corner are 10+ enemies in cover shooting at you. Press  to throw your threat grenade towards them and you will easily unlock this achievement.

Note: Early on in the game, you only have the threat grenade. As you progress through the campaign, you will also obtain the Flash and EMP grenades. If you are doing this in a later mission, while holding , press  to cycle through the available grenades. When you’ve selected the threat grenade, release  to throw it.

PowerPyx has provided a video showing this done during Mission 1, ‘Induction.’

  • Knock 25 Drones out of the sky with EMP grenades.

This achievement is cumulative throughout all campaign missions. You do not have the EMP grenades available to you until the grenade range in Mission 2, ‘Atlas.’

Drones will appear from time to time throughout the campaign. Whenever you encounter them, while holding , press  to cycle through your available grenades. When you select the EMP, release  to throw it. This will fry all the drones caught in the blast radius.

The best place to get this at the grenade range in Mission 2. You can play it over and over again which makes it easy to unlock here. Just keep restarting the course until the achievement unlocks.

360GameTV has provided a video showing this done on the grenade range on Mission 2, ‘Atlas.’

  • Stop an AST with an EMP grenade.

This can be done on any mission where there is an AST, which is as early as Mission 7, ‘Utopia.’ You can also get this on the missions ‘Crash,’ ‘Bio Lab,’ ‘Armada’ or ‘Throttle.’

AST's are the enemies in the mech suits armed with an LMG. When you encounter one, while holding , press  to cycle through your available grenades. When you select the EMP, make sure you are close enough to the AST and throw it by releasing . This will temporarily disable it, unlocking the achievement.

  • Collect over half of the Intel.

Refer to “Ferrum Absconsum” for more information.

  • Collect all the Intel.

There are a total of 45 Intel in Advanced Warfare, with three in each of the 15 missions. To collect it, walk up to the Intel and hold  until the percentage bar reaches 100%. When you pick one up, it saves your progress, so you can save and exit the mission if this is all you need in the level. If you die after collecting an Intel, you do not have to collect it again. The achievement unlocks as you pick up the last one. You can check which missions you need to find any remaining Intel from the Mission Select.

Note: Collecting Intel is a requirement of the “Power Changes Everything” achievement.

PowerPyx has provided a video showing all 45 Intel. Refer to the comments section for timestamps of each collectible.

  • Kill 20 enemies while linked to the Mobile Cover Drone.

The Mobile Cover Drone is only available in two missions, ‘Fission’ and ‘Bio Lab.’

In Mission 4, ‘Fission,’ shortly after you zip line from your helicopter there will be a Mobile Cover Drone. It looks like a big shield. Link to the drone it by holding  and you will be able lower the shield to shoot when using to aim. Once you get 20 kills while attached to this the achievement will unlock.

PowerPyx has provided a video showing this done near the beginning of Mission 4, ‘Fission.’

  • Spend your first Exo upgrade point.

Refer to “Power Changes Everything” for more information.

  • Spend 10 Exo upgrade points.

Refer to “Power Changes Everything” for more information.

  • Spend 20 Exo upgrade points.

  • Completely upgrade your Exo.

This achievement unlocks when you’ve fully upgraded your Exo suit. To do this, you need 33 upgrades points to upgrade 22 abilities on your Exo suit. To receive these points, you need to complete challenges during the single player campaign.

There are four challenges, and you need to maximize each one:

    • Kills - 1600 total kills (headshots, grenade and melee kills count as well)
    • Headshot Kills - 100 total headshots
    • Grenade Kills - 320 total grenade kills
    • Intel - Collect all 45 pieces of Intel (refer to “Ferrum Absconsum”)

Each category in the challenge system is leveled. To see your current levels, press  and on the bottom of the screen you will see your progress.

When you complete the current mission, if you’ve attained the next level of a challenge, you will receive upgrade points based on how well you did in that mission. In between missions, you can spend these points on any abilities that you have enough points for. There are two upgrades per ability; the first one costing one point and the second one two points. It is best you upgrade the abilities that you use most in the campaign based on your play style.

If you want to farm your grenade kills quickly and easily, the grenade range in Mission 2, ‘Atlas,’ is where to do it. You can restart the training as many times as you want, and since you have unlimited grenades (you have to keep picking them up, though), you can kill everything in this course; enemies, targets and drones, and it all counts towards the challenge. Keep replaying this training course and you will max out this challenge in no time.

In one playthrough on any difficulty, you can complete three of the four challenges. Chances are you will not get enough kills in one playthrough, but as you reload missions for random achievements, you can rack up more kills that way. The best missions to get kills on are Mission 4, ‘Fission,’ or Mission 15, ‘Terminal.’ ‘Terminal’ is good since you can get a lot of kills and it only takes about 10 minutes to complete.

With that in mind, your progress is only saved as you reach checkpoints. If you reload your checkpoint or die, you lose your progress. But, if you save and quit the mission, even though you may have reached checkpoints, your progress for that mission is completely lost. Only by completing the mission does your progress fully save. So if you have to grind kills, it’s best that you play on recruit.

Once you have completed all four Exo challenges and upgraded your 22 abilities, the achievement will unlock.

DLC: Havoc

There are 10 achievements with a total of 250 points

  • Survive until round 10.

    (1)

    See "Survivor".

  • Survive until round 25.

    (7)

    Tips to obtain high rounds:

    • Buy exo health.
    • Have good weapons.
    • Make sure to upgrade weapons.
    • Use gernades/nano swarms/distraction drones.
    • Run a train.
    • Make use of the trash chutes in tight situations to get out fast.

*Note* There are special rounds that have infected zombies and also rounds that are dogs. Both rounds give max ammo at the end.

  • 20/20

    40

Upgrade 2 weapons to level 20.

    (4)

    Tips on obtaining this achievement:

    • Buy exo health.
    • Don't try for lots of good weapons this will end up losing money.
    • Play in a party.
    • Run a train of zombies.

A comment because lots of people would say don't I want the best weapons, no you only need average weapons otherwise all your points will be spent on the 3D printer that could have been used to upgrade.

  • Have 15000 credits in the bank.

    (3)

You must be holding all credits at once, so the number on your screen must be 15,000. A good tactic for this is to get one decent weapon and exo health and run a train. Just keep building points up and don't spend on anything except the essentials.

  • Acquire the exo suit without spending any money.

    (4)

Get to the exo suit room without buying any doors or guns. Don't spend any money. Leech off your friends or find a random game.

  • Steal 10 kills from a teammate.

The way to do this is to have a friend throw a distraction done (gotten from the 3D printer) out, once the zombies are distracted by it unload on the group of zombies and kill 10.

  • Call in a rescue.

    (22)

This is the easter egg of the game! It's hard to explain so there is a video with a text guide in description.

  • Slam 10 zombies at once.

    (2)

To acquire this achievement you must first acquire an exo suit in the back of the map. Once you have the suit buy the exo slam upgrade for 2500 credits. Make a train of 10 zombies and when they are behind you double jump and slam while in the air using the crouch button, for default controls this button is "B."

  • Use the 3D Printer 15 times in a single match.

    (1)

To acquire this achievement you must first find the 3-D printer. It works just like the box from Treyarch's zombies. There is a power up called surge that will drop and allow the box to be used at a discount.

  • Exo Melee kill 10 zombies in 30 seconds.

    (1)

The easiest way is to do this is with luck. Once you have the exo suit you automatically have the exo melee. Make a train and if you get a insta kill just keep punching the train of zombies.
