Introduction:
Welcome to Blood Drive, a racing game, where you have to square off against five other drivers in a series of events, over the course of a cup. Depending on your placement at the end of an event, you get a number of points added to your overall standing, which determines the winner of the cup at the end of it. Oh, and there's zombies trying to kill you the whole time as well.

Step 1 - Multiplayer:
Do this first. Not many people have the game, so finding a partner would be rather difficult. There are five multiplayer achievements, each are designated with "multiplayer:" in the description. Check the individual achievements in the guide for more info. All except "Crash and Burn" can be done with bots, but you are better off with the more people you can get.

Step 2 - Preliminary Cups:
There are fiveeliminary cups, each needing to be completed until the next is unlocked. I say start with Natalya, and begin on your ""O" Is For Overachiever" progress. This will get you used to the game, frustrate you, and get you very familiar with map layout and item placement. Each cup gets progressively longer and more difficult. After finishing your first cup without losing an event, you'll get ""W" Is For Winner." See ""O" Is For Overachiever" for more details in the guide. After finishing the fifth cup, you'll unlock "Full Tilt."

Step 3 - Blood Drive Championship:
With Natalya still, this is where things get really, REALLY annoying. The AI is much smarter, they make more use of their Rage abilities, and the zones contain more events. However, after your victory, you'll unlock three achievements for your trouble: "Ode to Mother Russia," "Undisputed," and ""C" Is For Champion."

Step 4 - Hardcore Cup:
This is it, the big one. The hardcore cup is very similar to the championship, with a few exceptions. The AI are slightly better, especially during objective based games such as King of the Skull. There are less Super Repair Kits on the maps. Also, it seems like Repair Kits restore less health. Otherwise it's pretty much identical, and equally as frustrating. However, victory will reward you with "Hardcore Cup Conquered" and ""O"Is For Overachiever." Everything from here on out is much easier.

Step 5 - Other Characters:
You now have to win the Blood Drive Championship and Hardcore Cup with all six of the remaining characters. Since you no longer have to place first in every single event (consistently top three, mostly) you won't have to keep constantly restarting zones. However, this doesn't make things all that much shorter. Each event is about four minutes long, and with a total of 30 events that leaves you with two hours per cup, equating to a total of four hours per character, giving you 24 hours of playtime for who you haven't done yet. It certainly becomes a grind. However, there are some ways around it. If you're doing well and are placing top three often, and see yourself leading the other racers by a large number of points, you can simply not move during Elimination events (Roadkill and Checkpoint Elimination). That ends the matches in 30 seconds, as opposed to waiting three and a half minutes. If you get very lucky and end up with two in every zone, it saves you a half hour per cup. For individual character traits, please see their specific achievements in the guide.

Step 6 - Challenges:
There are five challenges to complete, all of which are rather easy with the correct strategies. See "Legend, wait for it...ARY!" for details on the challenges.

Conclusion:
There you have it. I'm sure over the course of your journey, you've seen some things you'd never expect nor want to see in a video game. Cars spawning 50 feet in the air, Behemoths spawning directly into your path, zombies not spawning during kill events, getting stuck on countless walls, cars, ramps, you name it. You survived it all, so congratulations on completing Blood Drive.

There are 42 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Complete All 5 Preliminary Cups

The Preliminary Cups are the first five cups to play, and most are rather short and easy. They may seem challenging at first, but taking the time to learn the maps goes a long way. Simply place first in all five cups for this one.

  • Place 1st in all of the Events within a single Zone

A bit trickier, a zone is a map, each comprised of a number of events, which are individual races. You must place first in each event within that zone. The easiest way to do this is simply win all three events of the Ante Up Cup. For more information, see ""O" Is For Overachiever."

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship with Kelley

    See "Hardcore Cup Strip Teased."

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship with Reggie

    See "Hardcore Cup Flatlined."

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship with Bedlam

    See "Hardcore Cup Slammed."

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship with Superstar

    See "Hardcore Cup Suplexed."

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship with Nazar

    See "Hardcore Cup Assassinated."

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship with Natalya

    See "Hardcore Cup Conquered."

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship with Jackson

    See "Hardcore Cup Stomped."

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship with Brock

    See "Hardcore Cup Sacked."

  • Complete All Challenges

There are six challenges, none being particularly hard.

    1. The first challenge is a Roadkill Endurance, you have to survive for three minutes. Pick either Natalya or Jackson with a Tank loadout. Start the level by driving straight, then taking a left onto the road with the Harpoon Launcher. Use the Harpoons as you drive up the road, make a U-Turn, then drive back down the road. You'll be able to keep a high combo up, pick up a new Launcher every time it spawns, and grab a Repair Kit if necessary. This one is easy once you learn the layout.
    2. Kill 500 zombies in under two minutes. I did this with Reggie and Getting Personal, but can easily be done with Natalya with Shoot to Kill. Make use of the saw blades and minigun on the map, making circles and killing as many zombies as possible with your given ammo.
    3. This is a demolition event, best with Natalya and a Tank loadout. You have to survive for five minutes, extending your timer by wrecking vehicles. Stay in the immediate spawn area, make use of the two Repair Kits, one Super Repair Kit, and Rail Gun items all around that first strip. Line em up for easy shots.
    4. Another easy demolition one with Natalya in a Tank loadout, simply wreck 10 cars in under five minutes. Make use of that Rail Gun.
    5. Thankfully the only checkpoint race, you have to hit 50 points in under four minutes. Best done with Kelley using a Pimped loadout, and won't be done on the first try. Don't boost like a maniac, take it slow and learn the route as it never changes. Might take a few tries to get perfect.
    6. A bit trickier, this one requires 1000 kills in 5 minutes. I used Natalya with a Shoot to Kill loadout, and drove circles around the large outside roads of the map. Make use of the saw blades, repair kits, and minigun to maximize combos. If you see a car and have the opportunity to destroy it easily, go for it. Otherwise just stick to zombies and keeping your combo count up.
  • Rack up over 50 kills in a single Killing Spree

    See "Fear the Reaper."

  • Kill a Shambler while it's in mid-air

Honestly, this achievement will probably be the first one you get. It'll just pop as you drive around doing things.

  • Crush 5 or more Zombies with a single Prop

Props appear in the second arena, Ded-Lite Stadium. I personally used one of the buses, as most levels usually have one. Line your car up with the bus and push it into a group of zombies until you get five.

  • Earn Bonus Zombie Points in every Event in a single Cup

Easiest done in the Ante Up Cup. Each Event will have three zombies marked as "Bonus Zombies" on the map. Run down all three with your vehicle in all three Events to earn this. Don't worry about winning, just drive around until you've gotten all the zombies.

  • Trigger a Jump Camera with a Leaper on your Car

A Leaper is a zombie that jumps on the roof of your car and won't become detached without you firing certain weapons or ramming your car into an obstacle. A jump camera is when the camera angle changes while doing a jump off a ramp. During the Checkpoint Challenge, there's one jump to make in the entire race. Right before the jump, a Leaper roams around that area. It happened for me and a few others automatically, so replay that challenge until the Leaper lands on your car.

  • Multiplayer: Kill another Player while you are both in mid-air

This one is absolutely awful. In a multiplayer game, you have to kill another human player while you're both in the air. Both of you should pick Kelley with a Pimped loadout on Flightmare, but it can be done on any map. You and your partner meet in a secluded place, away from AI and zombie interference. Whittle down each others health until only a tiny sliver remains. Use your Rage powers at the same time, and fire like mad as soon as you both leave the ground. With timing and luck, you should kill your partner before you touch the ground.

  • Multiplayer: Complete one entire event without being wrecked

Set up a King of the Skull match on any map, picking Natalya with a Tank loadout. Drive around the map avoiding the AI, both vehicle and zombie, grabbing repair kits when you need to. Have your partner actively go for the skull, so they can work on their wins while you hide away until the end of the match.

  • Multiplayer: Compete in 10 online Events

Simply play 10 multiplayer games, you'll get this working on your other achievements with your boosting partner.

  • Wreck each Driver at least once during a single Event

Simply make sure you kill all of the AI opponents in an Event with you. You'll most likely get this trying to win a Demolition or King of the Skull event. If not, make sure you actively hunt down and target each opponent, making sure you kill that one before moving on to the next.

  • Bully

    15

Wreck your Rival 5 times in a single Event

This one you'll actually have to go for, best done with Natalya with a Getting Personal or Tank loadout on either Demolition or King of the Skull. Your Rival is marked by an R on your minimap, track them down and kill them five times in one event.

  • Complete an uninterrupted Donut for 10 seconds

Simply hold and while keeping your to the side. You'll start spinning. Do this in an isolated area for 10 seconds and this one is yours.

  • Wreck 2 Vehicles during a single Juggernaut or Damage Frenzy Rage

Brock uses Juggernaut, Nazar uses Damage Frenzy. Easiest with Nazar on a Demolition or King of the Skull event, just get a good weapon such as a Rail Gun or Rocket Launcher, find two enemies who are low on health, activate rage and make sure you wreck them both. Probably the easiest of the four rage achievements to get.

  • Wreck 2 Vehicles during a single Flashbling or Cloak Rage

Superstar uses Flashbling, Natalya uses Cloak. Easiest done with Superstar on a demolition or king of the skull event, acquire a good weapon and find a group of enemies congregated together. Activate your rage, and you'll notice a lot of the AI enemies just stop moving. Go to town on them and destroy at least two vehicles before the rage wears off.

  • Wreck 2 vehicles with a single Shockwave or Gross Polluter Rage

Jackson uses Shockwave and Bedlam uses Gross Polluter. Easiest with Bedlam during a Demolition or King of the Skull event, find a small cluster of enemies with low health and drive right into the center of them to let off the rage. Many will break away from the crowd to drive away, only to die moments later from the gas. Make sure one cloud takes out two vehicles for this one.

  • Wreck 2 Vehicles with a single Surgical Strike or Gravity Well Rage

The hardest rage related achievement to get by far. Reggie uses Surgical Strike and Kelley uses Gravity Well. How I personally did this was choose a pimped loadout for Reggie during a checkpoint race. I boosted to the first checkpoint and activated the rage. I then repeated the process at the next two checkpoints. If none of the rages got two simultaneous kills, I restarted. The logic behind it is that the Surgical Strike takes a few seconds to activate, so in normal scenarios an enemy will be long gone by the time it detonates. In a checkpoint race, you'll be placing the Strike in the only place the enemies will be going. If you get lucky enough, it'll catch two at once. May take a few tries.

  • Complete the Blood Drive Championship

    See ""O" Is For Overachiever."

  • Place first in all Events in the Blood Drive Championship

    See ""O" Is For Overachiever."

  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with Kelley

Kelley is definitely one of the hardest characters to consistently win events with, mainly because of her weakness to damage. Even in checkpoint races where she should excel, it's hard to keep a wide lead when only a few Rockets or Lobbers can wreck your car. Below are the recommended loadouts for all events.

    • Roadkill Elimination - Shoot to Kill. Mines are useless against zombies, so hope for anything else to be your random weapon. Use the normal strategy of driving around, hitting the saw blades and miniguns on the maps and keep those combos high.
    • Zombie Roadkill - Shoot to Kill. Follow the same advice for Roadkill Elimination.
    • Demolition Derby - Triple Threat. Don't expect to win a single one of these, especially if Natalya is an opponent of yours. Kelley can get wrecked incredibly easily, and even making use of a Rail Gun can only net a few kills per match. Try your best, but keep in mind that this event is her weakness.
    • Total Massacre - Shoot to Kill. Follow the same strategies for the Roadkill events, but make it a point to avoid other drivers. They enjoy coming in to ruin your combos.
    • Checkpoint Elimination - Pimped loadout is the way to go. Start off by using your Rage power to put at least three other drivers at a major disadvantage straight out the gate. Immediately boost to hit the first few checkpoints, then just use your speed to maintain your lead. Grab any repair kits you see, you'll need full health for areas with Lobbers.
    • Checkpoint Race - Pimped. See the Elimination strategy.
    • King of the Skull – Rampage. The best strategy for this is to rush in and grab the skull as quickly as possible, or to ram the vehicle that is carrying it. Lay your mines down behind you as enemies follow, but if one is about to ram you from the front or side activate your rage to incapacitate those drivers temporarily.
  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with Reggie

Reggie is a versatile character, with decent speed, health, and a good starting weapon. Definitely one of the easier characters to complete the cups with.

    • Roadkill Elimination - Either Tank or Getting Personal. Use your sawblades until they're depleted, than drive around looking for a blades refill or minigun. Definitely a help that you start off with a staple zombie killing weapon.
    • Zombie Roadkill - Tank or Getting Personal. Same strategy as Roadkill Elimination.
    • Demolition Derby - Tank. Go for the Rail Gun or Rockets, but the blades aren't terrible when you just need too finish an enemy off. Use Surgical Strike if a corner is all bunched up with enemies, who hopefully stick around for the blast.
    • Total Massacre - Tank. Same strategy for Roadkill.
    • Checkpoint Elimination - Pimped. Boost forward immediately and activate your Rage once you hit your first checkpoint. With some luck, the cars directly behind you will be destroyed in the blast. Boost often to maintain a lead, activating Rage at each checkpoint possible to discourage vehicles behind you.
    • Checkpoint Race – Pimped. Same as the Checkpoint Elimination.
    • King of the Skull – Tank. It will usually be tough to get to the skull first, but its easy to kill and keep. Work around the arena avoiding enemies, but anticipate more time killing enemies than running around with the skull.
  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with Bedlam

Bedlam is one of the better characters, the default minigun he uses does signifigant damage to both zombie crowds and other drivers. His speed and decent health also make him useful when chasing checkpoints or holding onto the skull.

    • Roadkill Elimination – Tank or Getting Personal. Starting with the Minigun is incredibly useful, so pour all of that out before you go around scavenging for more ammo. One of the easiest characters to take care of roadkill events with.
    • Zombie Roadkill – Tank or Getting Personal. Same as roadkill elimination.
    • Demolition Derby – Triple Threat. Make use of your Rage ability, the AI will make no attempt to avoid the gas and it will usually push a damaged car over the edge. The minigun will also do some serious damage to enemies. Just make sure to stay out of the line of fire yourself.
    • Total Massacre – Tank or Getting Personal. Same strategy for the roadkills.
    • Checkpoint Elimination – Pimped. Bedlam is fast, and his Rage power is great at crippling enemies. Start off by dropping gas on the enemies at the spawn and boost ahead, maintaining a steady lead and dropping gas if enemies start to close in on you.
    • Checkpoint Race – Pimped. Same as the elimination.
    • King of the Skull - Rampage. Bedlam can get into the melee fast and grab the skull, and his speed can help you hold on to it. Dropping gas at regular intervals helps soften up enemies tailing you, and can also help if an opponent breaks away with the skull.
  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with Superstar

Superstar definitely comes in second as far as the best character to use. He’s fast, with a great rage and killer default weapon. You shouldn’t have any problems using him.

    • Roadkill Elimination – Tank or Getting Personal. Harpoons work decently enough against zombies to keep them from the start, but drive around looking for your saw blades or minigun for the real combos. Also keep in mind that your rage disables both other cars and Behemoths, so try to usually have it on.
    • Zombie Roadkill – Tank or Getting Personal. Same strategy for the elimination.
    • Demolition Derby – Triple Threat. Harpoons are great for taking out vehicles from a distance, and Flashbling allows you to stop an entire cluster of cars dead, allowing you to fire into stationary foes. Keep in mind that harpoons have a bit of a time delay, so using a different weapon for close encounters is recommended.
    • Total Massacre – Tank or Getting Personal. Same as the roadkill events.
    • Checkpoint Elimination – Pimped. Superstar is fast, plus his rage allows you to throw off enemies close to you. Use it often, and boost frequently to keep ahead of Bedlam and Kelley. One of the best characters to use for speed.
    • Checkpoint Race – Pimped. Same as the elimination.
    • King of the Skull – Rampage. Boost immediately to grab the skull, and keep boosting around to hold on to it. If the game behaves normally, eventually there will be a large four to five car pile-up in one corner as people ram/kill each other and pass the skull back and forth. Use your rage here, disabling all of those cars, take the skull, and break away before anyone can see again.
  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with Nazar

    • Roadkill Elimination – Shoot to Kill. Drunk Missiles are rather bad when it comes to zombie killing, so hope you get something a bit better. If not, make a quick break for the nearest saw blade or minigun pickup and go to town.
    • Zombie Roadkill – Shoot to Kill. Same as the above elimination.
    • Demolition Derby – Triple Threat. Your missiles will make short work of vehicular opponents, as long as you keep your distance and fire repeatedly. Make use of your Rage as well, as the double damage puts some serious hurt on the other drivers.
    • Total Massacre – Shoot to Kill. Same as the Roadkill events.
    • Checkpoint Elimination – Pimped. Nazar is powerful, but not very fast. Make use of his boost to get ahead, and his rage power when you need to take care of people in front of you. Definitely a character you’ll need to rely more on to clutch wins at the end.
    • Checkpoint Race – Pimped. Same as the elimination.
    • King of the Skull – Triple Threat. Hang back and make use of your missiles and rage to kill the skull carriers, and use that distance to make an escape before the other vehicles make a go at you. Definitely not the best character for it, but placing top three won’t be too difficult.
  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with Natalya

Definitely the go-to character, Natalya is incredibly powerful and durable. The slowest vehicle in the game, her lack of speed is made up for in raw power. Probably the best character for "“O” Is For Overachiever" as well.

    • Roadkill Elimination – Shoot to Kill. The Rail Gun isn’t very good at racking up high zombie kills, so go for your saw blades or minigun. Mow down the zombie hordes and rack up high combos for victory.
    • Zombie Roadkill – Shoot to Kill. Same as the elimination above.
    • Demolition Derby – Tank or Getting Personal. Natalya absolutely wrecks cars with her Rail Gun and high impact damage, and does a good job of staying alive. She will shine through on these events, and should have no problem easily taking first each time.
    • Total Massacre – Shoot to Kill. Same as the Roadkill events.
    • Checkpoint Elimination – Pimped. Problem with Natalya is that she is incredibly slow, however her Rail Gun makes it very easy to take out enemies ahead of you. Boost forward, and when you’re in the lead activate your cloak rage to keep yourself out of the line of enemies fire. Use your endurance to stay in the lead.
    • Checkpoint Race – Pimped. Same as the above elimination.
    • King of the Skull – Triple Threat. The problem with Natalya is that while she has the skull, you can very easily be caught up and rammed from behind, losing it. Snipe enemies from far off with the Rail Gun to get the skull, and drive around boosting and activating your cloak to hold onto it. One of the harder events to do with her.
  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with Jackson

Jackson is a very mediocre character, much like Brock. Bad starting weapon and average speed don’t make him a good contender for much of anything.

    • Roadkill Elimination – Shoot to Kill. Hope for minigun or saw blades, and drive around making use of them. Honestly you should typically come in 1st, but the lead won’t be as wide as it is with other, better characters.
    • Zombie Roadkill – Shoot to Kill. Same as the above event.
    • Demolition Derby – Tank or Getting Personal. Easy to take out other cars from afar with the rocket launcher, stay back and try to hit groups hard. When you get rage, use it on a cluster of three-four cars.
    • Total Massacre – Shoot to Kill. Same as the roadkill events.
    • Checkpoint Elimination – Pimped. Jackson isn’t very fast, but using his rage right at the beginning should jumble the cars up a bit and get you a decent lead. Use rage whenever opponents get too close, and rockets for when they pull into the lead.
    • Checkpoint Race – Pimped. Same as above.
    • King of the Skull – Tank. Snipe enemies from afar with rockets, and use boosts to speed around the map. Another character you can’t do much with, sadly.
  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with Brock

Brock is probably a bottom three character to use. He’s slow, with an awful rage, and overall bad weapon. One of the more annoying people to win the cups with.

    • Roadkill Elimination – Shoot to Kill. Hope for a decent weapon, and ride around going for your saw blades and minigun.
    • Zombie Roadkill – Shoot to Kill. Same as above.
    • Demolition Derby – Triple Threat. Brock is slightly better here, as his rage cripples cars and the grenade launcher can do some serious damage if it actually hits someone. Don’t bank on easy wins, but this is where he shines through.
    • Total Massacre – Shoot to Kill. Same as the Roadkill events.
    • Checkpoint Elimination – Speed Demon. Brock is awful in every aspect. Try to maintain a steady lead through boosting, but honestly don’t count on great placements for any checkpoint events.
    • Checkpoint Race – Speed Demon. See above.
    • King of the Skull – Triple Threat. Try to ram enemies with your rage power activated to wreck multiple cars at once and hold onto the skull, while firing grenades at the other vehicles. Try your best to stay ahead or in a different part of the map from everyone else, but these events are quite hard for Brock.
  • Rack up over 100 kills in a single Killing Spree

This one will most likely come naturally as you go through your characters roadkill events. It becomes easier starting on Helter Smelter and all the subsequent maps, try to make use of the minigun and saw blades, never pausing or getting sidetracked by other vehicles. Every 25 kills refills the counter. My highest spree was 300 kills, so 100 is certainly not a problem as long as the zombies decide to spawn in.

  • Multiplayer: Come in first in 5 King of the Skull Events

Same as the campaign, simply place first in five king of the skull matches. I recommend using Natalya. Can be done against bots or friends, but the more friends you have the easier things will be for you.

  • Multiplayer: Come in first in 5 Checkpoint Race Events

Same as in campaign, simply place first in five checkpoint race events. I recommend using Kelley with a pimped loadout because of her speed. Can be done against bots or friends, but is much easier with a few friends.

  • Complete the Hardcore Cup with all Drivers

Check the achievements for the individual characters for specific strategies for someone. Hardcore is not very different at all from the championship, the main change is the fact a few repair kits were removed and the AI seems slightly more intelligent in their use of weapons and rage abilities. If you can do the championship, you can definitely do the hardcore cup as well.

  • Place first in every Event in Tournament Mode

Essentially, you have to place first in every single race throughout every cup in the game. Somewhat luckily, a loss doesn’t mean you have to necessarily restart the entire cup, just that zone. For example, let’s say you’re on zone three (Helter Smelter) and you just lost the third race of the zone, which is event 18/30 for the overall championship. If you pause and hit “Restart Zone” you’ll start from event 15/30 and still be able to get the achievement. You can restart zones as often as you need (which will be often) and can take breaks between zones.

I personally used Natalya for this, while others have used Superstar. That just comes down to personal preference, and I recommend checking their respective hardcore cup win achievements for loadout and event advice. You will get terribly frustrated doing this, there is no doubt about that. The game loves giving you four easy events in a row and some awful monstrosity where you place second or third for the final event of that zone. It is possible with persistence and skill, but will certainly not be fun.

  • Kill 20,000 Zombies

Don’t even think about this one, it will come naturally while attempting your cup wins. In fact, I got it before even finishing the Championship the first time while going for "“O” Is For Overachiever." You’ll be racking up a few hundred kills every Roadkill event, and probably at least a hundred every other event just from driving around and firing your weapon.
